Okay, so, did anyone else get a request for a "sound card?"  SR says that a "bunch" of the SRs are asking for them.  They know they'll get 8-counts for them, "but it's worth it."  Why does this make me scared?  I'm to get one of those cards you can record your voice on. He says that even if he has to destroy it, it's "still worth it." I'm way too much of a rule follower for this.

I'm with you and I didn't get a request for one, thankfully.  They do get 8-counts for everything.  My SR said he got 8-counts for every letter over 5 that he received.  He told me to keep sending lots of letters because he is getting good at the 8-counts!!

My SR would kill me if I sent one of those!!!

Yeah I think mine would probably kill me to.   It sounds like he was having a rough time of it for a while and dont want to get him in any trouble.

Hi Everyone!  I am waaayyyy out of the loop today as I have not been on the computer.  I left for work at 0630 and just got home at 2135.  It has been a long day.

With regard to where we are staying...Thursday night we are at the Navy Lodge and then the rest of the weekend we are staying at the Marriott.  This is my first 'vacation' in 3 years so whether or not my SR (by then Sailor) can join us, his girlfriend and I are going to see the sights.  I would like to got to one of the meet and greets.  Who is going where?  Since I am not at the Ramada, I am guessing I should got to Sarge's.  Where can I find that information?  Is it on this website or another?  I figure my ex and his fiance won't be going...just my SR's GF and me!

I didn't get a letter today but my SR's dad and GF did.  They shared them with me.  Sounds like he was gearing up for Hell Week.  His GF said his sense of humor is still intact! A good sign.

I am soo looking forward to meeting all of you!!

Go to this PIR group page  (not this discussion, the PIR group).  Under the weather widget and OPSEC stuff  you'll find the links for both meet and greets.  You can even see who has "rsvp'd" already.

THANK YOU!! :)

Okay I am not finding it.  I know I am doing something wrong!

That's the PIR group.

Down below the OPSEC info, the countdown, the weather widget. . . right above the discussion topics. . .see the smilies holding the signs? Click on the links next to the signs that say "Click me..."

We are going to the Ramada meet and greet since we are staying there.

Yay you are staying at the Ramada.  Me Too.  I hope everyone can make the Meet and Greet there I really want to meet everyone.

Just because you dont stay at the Ramada doesn't mean you cant go to the meet and greet.   They offer it to all.   Please come if you can.  I think they are only a few miles from each other.   I really do hope to see you there.
