I did make it out. It was very cold. Got to the post offfice and mailed my letters. Ran to another store down the street. We live within walking distance from the theatre. Too cold tonight but thinking of walking to see "The Artist" tomorrow. So I came in and fixed us a big "linner" half lunch/half dinner at 4:30. Now I'm having a Bailys and Coffee and listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage. Do you know it was 40 years ago today the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show for the first time?

PS...I'm in flannel and polorfleece!

went out to the university for a couple basketball games,  OMG... about froze... said it was 25 but felt like -25 ....  guess its preparing us for CHICAGO... ran home to my polorfleece tinkerbell jammie pants

And what part of the country are you in?  Were they good games?

in kentucky......  yea it was good  where are u at?

Oregon.  I didn't know it could get that cold in Kentucky.  My former husband is a HUGE college basketball fan.

Where in KY? I live in Dayton and have great friends in Louisville. My spouse is from eastern KY. His favorite show is Justified....you get the area. As I mentioned on FB, it's 16 degrees here, I'm in my flannels, again. Did nothing last night. We were on our respective piece of furniture with blankets. Around 11, I had to have hot chocolate to wash down my tylenol pm. Great night sleep in my flannels and long underwear shirt. It's cold. We finally got our winter, but warmer next week.

Ladies, I'll be back, switching back and forth from here to FB.

yea ... it can get quite cold here, usually have a few inches of snow but NOTHING this year. (boo)    Hey chefongreen...  in south central ky in campbellsville... about an hour and a quarter south of Louisville.. don't know the show, had to look it up.... i flip flop btwn here and fb CONSTANTLY hahahha

I did retail therapy today too!  Looking for new flannels...and a couple of other things.  It was a little chilly this morning...34.

I agree with you and Kellyrose...I am beginning to breathe again.  I felt like I have been holding my breath for the last 5 weeks.  And Kellyrose...you have 4 children still at home?  I agree with Melissa...WOW! :-)

Well Ladies 18 short days and we are there seeing our boys graduate.   HOOYA!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!! I just posted that on the FB Forum at this moment!! HOOYAH is right!

Okay, Ladies - don't talk too much without me.  I need to head to church this morning and then my son needs the computer most of the day to get his French and physics done (both computer based courses).  Sigh.  This sharing a computer really stinks sometimes.  But, hey, maybe I'll get something else done!. . . yeah. . . like a nap!  LOL.

Have a GREAT DAY!  Think warm thoughts about our SRs writing lots of letters during their holiday routine this morning.

Love the NAP! Maybe today. Had plans of it yesterday but just didn't get it. As I mentioned yesterday, we thought of walking to our theatre to see a movie.....No Way, too cold. I started another letter already this am and may get it mailed tonight. We live in downtown Dayton, so I either walk or drive anywhere. Our bikes were stolen some time ago, but I've been going to pawn shops and looking at bikes there. They have really nice bikes! I hopefully will have one by Spring so I can get back in shape from this winter YUCK!
