Anyone?  My son left on the 24th.  We got his box and form letter yesterday.  He said it's pretty good so far, but he's tired and they can't really talk to each other yet.

I just read on RTC's facebook page, 2 moms from our division got real letters yesterday.  I'll be standing by my mailbox today!

One mom posted on the RTC wall yesterday, the other on the Ship 12 Division 093 forum within same RTC page.

Green scarves sound good to me.  How does this work?  Do you get any one or is there a site to get something in particular?

Me too.

It was so great to hear my son's voice. He sounded awesome. Think I will be on cloud nine for the rest of the day.Cant wait for the next month to fly by. Hope that everyone got a phone call and are feeling the same way.

My son called at 4:15 Chicago time, he has a cold but sounded great. He likes the food and has even had cookies.

He has a level of maturity in his voice i've never heard before. So proud and happy he is there.

When you talk about the level of maturity in your son....I heard the same in my son. He was sure happy to tell me about all he had been doing. He said "mom it's not really as bad as I thought it would be....and most everyone are pretty cool". I could picture that smile he always has on his face as I listened to him. What a wonderful phone call.f

I had the most amazing call from my son tonight!  It was great to hear his voice and he sounded wonderful.

My son called around 5:30, Boston time.  Maybe more of them will get to call tomorrow.

My call came at 5:15 Chicago time.  I hope everyone hears something.

Awww.  That's so sad you didn't get to talk to him.  He  didn't know when the next chance may be for them to make a call. It sure sounds like your husband isn't having much fun with dental work on top of boot camp.

I tried this week, but people know that RTC website inside out and they are FAST.  I'll keep trying though.  Would LOVE to see a picture.
