I can smell the popcorn!

Good morning ladies!  Just over two weeks to go!!!  Looking forward to my mail tomorrow!!  Hope everyone gets mail this week.

I am leaving home two weeks from yesterday!  I'll get to Milwaukee two weeks from today.  I'll be in the Great Lakes area two weeks from tomorrow.  AND, I'll get to see my SR two weeks from Friday!  Whoo Hoo!  My only concern is that "I'm a Sailor" call.  It's almost certainly going to have to come while I'm travelling and I'm not happy about that.  Plus, in WI, we'll be where there is little (if any) cell coverage.  I'm trying not to be stressed.  What I'm really wishing is that our SRs were on an earlier schedule and finished BS21 over a week before they graduate.  This weeks's graduates all finished BS before last week's graduation.  But that's not the norm.

Hi ColoradoMom! It's a possibility that they will do battlestations the week before because there is no graduation on the 24th of Feb.  I am expecting the "I'm a Sailor" call around the 23, plus its usually before Captains Cup which is on the Saturday prior to graduation.

when my sr was in div 039 they had capt cup 2 weeks before PIR..  and was one of the first groups to go thru BS the sunday before PIR.. so, Im thinking capt cup is this sat and BS should be the next week... we all should know in the next few days when it is.. our SR's will let us know the date for BS but we can't post it..

Hmmmm, that's interesting about his Captains Cup.  All the info I can find and what I've seen RTC say on their facebook page is that Captains Cup is the Saturday before PIR.

Captain's Cup is a fun, friendly athletic event between divisions who are set to graduate that week. Events include basketball, volleyball, relay races and more. They receive a traveling trophy and get to carry a Captain's Cup flag for graduation.

Well, I suppose that's possible.  But that would be the very beginning of week 6 for them.  Remember, week 6 day 1 will be on Wednesday 2/22 (because 2/20 is a holiday).

And doing BS before Captains Cup is not a given.  MANY divisions do BS after captains cup and make that call the Tues - Thurs before PIR.

However, I'm going to think positive thoughts.

Yipes...I am getting stressed out. So BST is on a Sunday night? And I forgot about the Monday holiday because I have to work (kids out of school...parents bring them in for cleanings and check-ups).  Oh jeez...I am going to just keep my phone on my person at all times.  I better go work out and de-stress.

BS21 is whenever it is scheduled.  There are 9 divisions to go through BS.  They can't all go through at the same time.  They typically go through in groups, but not all at the same time.  BS can be any night (well, not Friday night/Sat. am or Sat night/sun am).

yea and with no PIR on the 24th WHO KNOWS...lol....  just cant wait for PIR../.

YAY!!

OMG...this is going to be pushing it the next 15 days. My Mom leaves Sunday for the Bahamas for a week. We have a condo in Freeport, Grand Bahama. She and a friend are going down to stage it and set for sale. Know anyone who wants to buy a condo in the Bahamas? My SR first went down when he was 5 months old. He practically grew up there, staying with my Mom and Dad.

She returns on the 26th, my birthday the 27th, and we leave for PIR on the 1st.

OMG!

I have so much I should be doing but I am sitting here chatting with you Ladies, knowing that we are feeling the exact things. I'm glad you are out there. I am also crocheting another dog coat for my moms dog Diva. I will explain that dog at a later date.

Hope we get letters today!
