I do salad bar for dinner. He knows. He also knows how compulsive I am with salads, so hopefully that has been engrained in him. Even the way I wash and cut my lettuce, I'm anal on this. Again, my SR knows. When I had huge catering events or something, he would help and can basically run a commercial/professional kitchen himself. I can just imagine his comments.

He mentioned in his letter that he doesn't know how much weight he's lost, but has lost weight. His step-father accidently put on his jeans the other day. They fit him and he said they won't fir the SR now!

Oh man, I would love to hear his evaluation of the mess hall!  My SR said he has lost a lot of weight...and didn't have a whole lot to lose, I thought.  I am guessing none of his clothes here at home will fit him.  Between eating healthy and all that PT...

My SR mentioned being "Motivated" alot:(. I get his letters on thursdays so i'll be waiting by the mail:) Finally was able to book my flight and hotel room!!!!! Got our wedding rings!!!! AND....had the best valentine's day ever: My SR was able to send me Roses and a biggg teddy bear lol:)))( Well he didnt actually send it he got his sis in law to do it but it still came frm him) So excited 15 days &&& counting:)))!!!

omg how totally awesome for you and your soon to be hubby...  Where is he going for A school??

How wonderful for you! Are you getting married after PIR and before A school? Wow, talk about a lifes transistion and happening quick. Best of luck to you both!

That's so exciting!!!  Make sure you have the rings to show us all!!!

Got a short sweet letter.  My SR talked about BEAT...and how he thinks they don't do enough PT!? They were working hard on getting the drill flag.  They have scholastic flags and an athletic star.  He said the drill flag is paramount to all of the others.  He is still maintaining a sense of humor which is a good thing.  I talked with his GF tonight...we are getting so excited,

YIKES, I was out of the loop yesterday as my mom was here visiting and spent the day with her.  I too get letters on Thursdays so I am hoping for one when I get home from work. A phone call next week would be awesome!!!  I'm not real worried about PFA because my SR has passed it each time, except when he thought his running time was 12:45 but then found out he ran and extra lap!!!  I hope this letter is a little more upbeat than the last one....he sounded good but a bit of a "Debbie Downer".  I cannot believe we (I) have made it this far without serious medication or therapy!  Can't believe he's been gone 43 days!!!  Thanks Ladies for my THERAPY!!!

My therapy sometimes has been a stiff Martini!

well YAY  extra lap and still kicked it !!!   my SR has been gone 101 days....  also said...working on BATTLE E flag... THE MOTHER OF ALL FLAGS TO GET!!!   GO 075

OMG barby....I don't know how you have done it!!!  That is just killer!  Absolutely Martini Time!!!

Stoli all the way!
