He said they are having to "ITE" because some people won't get it together.. he said on the 28th they had to do an 1 1/2 of "ITE" becasue some guys took to long to get dress. he says he is meeting a lot of cool people. He also said they had to stay up 40 hours straight hour during the first  two days.... I can't wait fior March  16....

Hello,

We have heard from our son a couple of times. He called once  (we got a minute 35 seconds, girlfriend got the rest :).  He is having a bit of a difficult time, a little homesick, a little hurting from wisdon teeth extraction, and adjustment.  He did say the same thing about some of the guys not taking it seriously and how he wishes they would.  I absolutely cannot wait until the 16th!

Does anyone have a clue about division colors of 088 and 919.

Hi Brooklynsmom.  I don't know if Div 88 has chose, a ribbon color yet (I don't think so) but my son is in 87 and they are brother divisions, training together in BC.  I know some of the brother divisions are getting colors to match.  Yellow, green and black have been picked (not that we can't still get them too) but I wanted to suggest navy for 87 and 88.  Let me know what all of your group thinks about this.  I will mention it again in the div 87 discussion and hopefully we can decide something today.  We don't have to get the same color, it is merely a suggestion.  Have a great day everyone.  I hope to meet all of you at graduation!!!

Several us from Ship 09 Div 088 are on facebook.  We are wearing Navy Blue and White colored ribbons.

We will be meeting at Flanagans on Thurs. March 15 for the "Meet and Greet".

sounds great!  We will try and make it to the meet and greet.  We are driving in  and will just be getting there.  Are people wearing a certain colored shirt at the graduation?  Guess I was wondering if our division wore a certain color and sat together?  Not sure how this works. Any idea?

I know we are wearing Blue or White ribbons.  I have a navy blue shirt that says, "NAVY MOM".  One of my co-worker made it for for me.  Several of us moms from the facebook page thought it would be a great idea to mail each other's SR a letter or card of encouragement.  I mailed mine out today (or at least it will go out tomorrow) and your son was included in the list.

Hello Vickie and everyone. Last we spoke vickie, i had told you my son was sick in his letter. He called few days after that said he went to see the doctor, he had some upper respiratory thing..better.  I was so worried.  Received letter from my son recently. He said that their division received their academic flag..Anyone know what this is for? My son says he's doing ok but hasnt gotten much sleep. They put him on permanent watch. He said he lost valuable ironing time to write us the letter. I miss him so much, can't wait until the 16th.

Glad your son is feeling better!  Mine has been sick and had his wisdom teeth pulled  as well. First three weeks weren't fantastic :(

Hi Nick's girlfriend..... we're down to only 26 days and I'm sure you're just as excited as I am!!  Hopefully you've heard from your bf and things are going well for him....

Hi, my name is Sonia and my son is Brad Hale.  I have received letters each week but still only one phone call.  But that's okay as long as I know he is doing great.  Looking forward to 3/16.  We have our flight, hotel and car rented.

Hi Sonia, my son is Jamie VanDeMar.  Glad to meet you :)  We have only had a short call too. The letters help soooo much!
