Me too! It took him 5 differnt phones for us to hear eachother but it was well worth it! I agree it made my Valentines day the best ever too! He said they haven't gone to the gas chamber yet but it will be next Monday.

I was so thankful to get his call:)! My SR said, his job was going to be an MM. He said he is suppose to room w a guy from TX that starts w a g @ A school.

I got a call too.  He sounded great.  Lakegirl, is your SR going to South Carolina for A school?  Mine is and he's from Texas.

Yes, he is.

What training day is this divison on?  For example:

Div 075, Thurs. 2/16, Day 5-3

They are on Week 5 Day 5

Got a letter yesterday from my son, he says he will not be out with the other sailors during graduation. He says he will be in the war room. I hope he has this wrong and that another 900 division will perform these duties during their graduation.

I hope so too ge.

I know I'm not part of this division (but I'm getting the notices right now since I asked the question about training day), but RTC has said that there won't be any non-PIR 900 divisions performing at our PIR on 3/2 since there are THREE 900 divisions graduating (unusual).  So, I'm thinking there won't be any other 900 divisions to perform the duties.

I hope every sailor gets a chance to be out on the floor during PIR - even for a short time!

My SR told me that he would be greeting & seating people at grad. That I prob. wouldn't see him either. That just sounded crazy to me. I also think that sounds so unfair after they've worked so hard. I'm hoping he is wrong about this as well.

Now your other message makes sense to me. Are you saying they will both be together "behind the scenes",and won't be on the drill deck. My son says he opens, greats the admirals and honored guests that come. You may have said before, but is your son also Nuke? He said because of the timing of their graduation they have to perform these duties at their own graduation. I think it is an honor to be chosen, we'll look at it that way! and be proud knowing they are already serving. I know I would like to see him at the graduation, but i know I will get to see him afterwards anyway.

I meant earlier they would be going to A school together. Yes, my son is also a Nuke. I like your view on grad. that makes me have a whole new look on it. Thanks!:) My SR also told me he would be coming thru the door @ 7:00a.m. He said he couldn't talk though or he would get in trouble. I told him that was ok, I'd just enjoy looking at him.

Guess I'll be getting to graduation early then.
