Anyone else have a loved one in Ship 9 Division 091?  My son left 01/17/2012.  He will be going to Pensacola for his A school.

Thank you for posting this.  I got ours ordered today.  If you're going to order, be sure and order black if you want them before graduation.  The lady called me and said there's a good possibility they won't get the grey one's back in time to ship for graduation.  They are located in Texas also, and she said they will ship them about one week before graduation.  Just FYI in case anyone was interested.

Is this just for males?

Is anyone ordering ribbons or scarves from LaLa?  Or making their own?  Any preference on the color?  I kind of liked the stars one she makes.  I thought about ordering a blue and white star scarf with the red anchor and their division in red.  Does anyone have any ideas?

I ordered shirts to wear to PIR and one for my Sailor in gray (they order black for themselves according to the company).  I don't know if I am going to order scarves or not but we won't be wearing yellow.  If I order scarves, they will probably be the blue ones others have talked about.

I ordered shirts for us to wear after PIR.  We will be in Sunday dress clothes for PIR.  I also ordered one for my SR.  The division colors are for the scarves if you want to order scarves from Lala or make your own.  I posted earlier that if noone has any suggestions, I personally like her blue scarf with the white stars and then have a red anchor and their division put on it.  I am also ordering ribbons from Lala that are blue with gold letters.

OMG, Are there any RTC' who have daughter on this site?

do you mean RDC? If so there is a mom on this site, not sure which division she is in but she used to be an RDC at bootcamp and she has a daughter there now.

I dont know what RDC stands for. I thought this site was for recruits of ship 09 div 091, Seems like everyone here has a son. I have a daughter. lol

Someone from 092 said we were going with yellow, but I have seen absolutely no discussions from our division regarding this. I personally would not want yellow. I suggested the blue with white stars. Does anyone have an issue with this? Please let me know so I can post our color that our division chooses.

I am sure that's what she was thinking, I guess it just really took me by surprise when I had opened up a discussion on here and given my opinion, and then see on the other page that someone from a different division was saying we were going with yellow. lol.  I didn't know where it had come from and if I had missed a discussion somewhere.  I really wasn't trying to be a pain or cause problems, but I just thought it should be our divisions choice.

I changed your color to the Navy and White with stars and red anchors and DIV. It is not a problem at all just send me a message if this is not correct.

Thank you.  Yes, that is what I want for sure as I had said in my order e-mail.  I guess it just really took me by surprise that someone from another division decided our color without asking us when we were already discussing a color amongst our group.  And I guess it didn't help that I really really don't like yellow. lol
