Anyone else have a loved one in Ship 9 Division 091?  My son left 01/17/2012.  He will be going to Pensacola for his A school.

4 weeks from today!! WooHoo!  I really hope they are coming together as a group.  I got a letter yesterday.  It sure helps getting those letters.  I hope everyone either got their letters already or will get them today.  Happy Friday!

My family had another round of letters from my brother delivered yesterday (to Alabama and Texas)!!!  Boy do I LOVE checking the mail nowadays!  haha  We are booked at the Marriott Courtyard for PIR and we are planning on going to Sarge's Meet and Greet.  Less than a month now and we are all counting the days!!!!

That's great ProudNavySister.  We plan on going to Sarge's Meet and Greet also.  Hopefully we will all meet there.  Can't wait for the next 4 weeks to pass.

What if we all ordered the shirts or scarfs and wore them to the meet n greet so we would know who we are?

That sounds like a great idea.  I will sure do that.

919 has decided navy blue

My husband and I decided not to wear scarves for a couple of reasons.  First, we will be indoors and no one will see them. Second, we live south of Atlanta and will probably never wear them again. Third, neither he nor our son will wear them.

I am trying to talk them into ribbons (I think they will do that) so I will order blue with gold lettering with the division number on them.

We will be going to Sarge's (they don't have a choice - mom is in charge when we get there, lol).

I am pretty sure we will be staying at the Candlewood Suites.  My brother-in-law can get us friends and family rates, however, they are non-refundable so I am waiting until my husband's parents to get back from their Fiji cruise early next week to see if I should book a room for them or not.

27 1/2 days until we see our Sailors!

My husband won't wear a scarf either, but my daughter and I will. It will make it easier for you to find us. :)

I'll be easy to find.  I'll send you my phone number in a private message.

Hi, I've been posting to this site, (just found it after 4 weeks)  my son is in this ship/division and is a Nuke... going to SC.

We are proud of him.

How is everybody doing?

I just talking. Kind of an outloud statement to ship 09 div 091.  sounds like to me they are not working together.  I thought mystically someway it might help, cant ever tell. I,ll delete it. dont want to upset anyone

Remember that tomorrow (Monday) is President's Day so no mail delivery.  Don't be disappointed if you don't get anything from your SR.
