Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Anyone else have a loved one in Ship 9 Division 091? My son left 01/17/2012. He will be going to Pensacola for his A school.

Good morning, everyone. I got a wonderful surprise in my mailbox Saturday. A second letter for the week. He was sure missing everyone a lot, but he sounded good otherwise. I am hoping this is a good week for our division. They have been told that they are the worst division that RTC has ever had. I have a feeling that a lot of divisions are told the exact same thing. There are lots of reports from lots of our recruits that they are not working well together, but I have also read, that around week 4 and 5 is when most divisions really start to figure out that there is no "I" in "Team". 25 days till we get to wrap our arms around them again. I can't wait! Hope everyone has a great day!

My son wrote the same thing... I wrote him telling him I'm sure a lot of divisions are told they are the worst.
They all just need to hang in there and hopefully things will start coming together. So looking forward to seeing them all on 3/16,

That will be perfect. You come introduce yourself to any of us wearing scarves. What's going to be funny though is none of us will know who the other one is unless we put nametags on with our N4M name on it. Lol.

Has anyone else noticed that we are one of the most active divisions in our graduation group? I just noticed there is a reply count. Our SR's have a lot of support and love. :)

Do we need to RSVP for Sarge's meet and greet? I clicked that I will attend on the page with the info, but I didn't see a place for a head count and there will be four of us. Do I need to call and give that info or do they just assume an amount based on graduating class numbers?

24 days and counting till we get to hug are new Sailors. 3 weeks from right now I will be driving North. I can't wait. I hope everyone is having a great day.

I am getting emotional again. Still not with tears, but with anticipation. I can't wait! I am SO proud of our SRs.

I feel the same way. So many emotions going on inside. I just can't wait. We're going to make it an educational trip for our younger son and stop in St. Louis for the Gateway Arch. We also want to go to the Willis Tower while we are in Chicago and the Navy Pier. I think it will be great for him.

I grew up in St. Louis. The Arch and riverfront will be great stops. Make sure you take your son up to the top. Many people just go to the museum in the base - which used to be good (it's been a very long time since I've been) but the "pod" ride to the top is an experience.
