Is there anyone with a SR Ship 2 Div 919?  If yes, please comment on the status of your SR and your experience here.  My son is there.  We are from Texas.  I've already made our reservations at the Residence Inn.  I've been doing a lot of reading online and found that this place has nice 2 bedroom 2 bath suites with full kitchen.  I also spoke with a lady online that verified there is a wonderful free full hot breakfast and that he graduation is only 4 miles or so away from the hotel.  The online site state the suite will accommodate 6 comfortably.  I haven't gotten tickets yet as I'm watching the rates.  I've seen prices  fall as low as 200 RT.  However the deadline for use was prior to my departure date.  Chime in if you are going and will be staying at the same hotel.  Maybe we can have a meet and greet night at the hotel or something.  Can anyone tell I'm extremely excited about PIR and getting to see my SR turn Sailor.  Yeah!

Hi My daughter is also in ship 02 div 919. Nice to meet you.

Same to you.  I'm writting my son now.  I hope to see you at PIR.

I write Brooklyn everyday. Still waiting on that first letter, but hopefully I will get one this week. I can't wait til PIR. We already have everything reserved. SO EXCITED!!!

I'm still waiting on the grandparents so that I  can get alirline tickets.

I miss my daughter so much. I wonder if she knows your daughter?

She might. She wrote home and named off alot of names that she had became friends with. And said that they wwere from all over. We are from Tennessee. You can ask your daughter. Brooklyn is little. She only stands 5ft tall dark hair, and normally pretty quiet. lol

My daughter is Kristi we are from San Antonio, Tx. I will ask her if she knows your Brooklyn. Kristi is quiet also. I've only gotten 3 letters & 1 missed phone call. :,(
Hi. My daughter gave me her friends last names, hoping I knew their moms.
My daughter is in the same Ship :) nice too meet u.... See u at sarge's right?

My daughter is ship 2 div 919.  Her dad is writing her a letter every week.  I am writing when I can.  The house is so quiet without her.

That's wonderful.  I haven't gotten a letter from my son yet.  I've only gotten his PIR form letter.  I really would like to her from him.  He arrived on the 17th late night.  We didn't even get the initial call.  About a week after he arrived, we got the box with his personals.  It's been pretty emotional for me not to hear from him or have in verbal communication at all.  This site has really been good.  It's great to have the  communication.  My husband was a sailor, so he's not as emotional as I am about it.

I hope you get your letter soon.  See you there.

What are your plans after PIR?  Anyone from Texas?  Please post if you have any tips and ideas to share.  All for one and one for all.... HOOORah
