Anyone else have a loved one in Ship 9 Division 091?  My son left 01/17/2012.  He will be going to Pensacola for his A school.

The closer that it gets the more emotional I get. I thought it would get easier, but when I hear of a PIR, I just get all emotional. Its not the sad emotions this time. Its the "I can't wait" emotions.

I talked to the people at Sundance Saloon and they said there is no need to RSVP.  Just come on in when we get there!

Us too, mom2kandg!  My mom and I were just texting about how we just can't wait to see our SR's face and the grin he will have when he sees us all.  We can just picture it and we're counting down!!  I'm Allison, btw.  :)

Thank you for checking on that.  That is good to know.  I feel the same way.  I can't wait to see his face.

I have a question. How long did you make your reservations for the hotel? Do we know how long they will have before leaving for A school?

I beleive at the airport they may receive their phone other electronic devices.  We are arriving Thursday and leaving when I can no longer see my recruit. lol

that is correct velomoon and I absolutely love how you determined when you are coming home.... when you can no longer spend time with him. That was my plan as well since we drove :-)

We are going to stay near the base Thursday and Friday night.  After we leave K at the airport on Saturday (assuming that is when she is leaving) we will stay overnight near the airport and take an early flight out Sunday.

Hey trying to get the message out, does everybody know about Trivia Tuesday on the RTC facebook page?  If one of us answers the question first they will take a picture of our ship/div and post it on the page :)  if you all have a chance to play please try, it would be great to see our ship/div.

Thanks Nan, we do need more of not just our divisions but of our PIR also. We all want to see our kids and if we can get more people involved from our PIR date then hopefully we can get one of our SR's pictures.

SHIP 09  DIV 091 did not win this Tuesday.

I cannot play Trivia Tuesday.  I can't get on Facebook on my work computer, and it would take me forever to try to type that on my cell phone instead of copy and pasting.  So, I have to rely on others in our division.  I would love to see our recruits.  Some of those people answer so quickly, it amazes me.  Maybe we can get it next week.  Happy Wednesday everyone.  No letter today, so I guess I will probably not get one till Friday since we usually get one on Thursday and there was no mail Monday.  I was sure hoping they got to write again last Thursday like some of the other divisions, but I guess not.  Maybe they will earn that this week.

My husband is playing every Tues. as I am at work. So far no luck, But he will keep on trying!!  Not too many more Tuesdays for us though!!!!
