Hello Ladies! My daughter is in this div also "triple threat" she said! hooyah
Hello Mackay, lol "triple threat" I have to ask what that is ? and hooyah back at you :)
I think its cause they sing/and do drill at least thats what she wrote
You got it! It's Drill, Choir and Band.
Some will also be door openers for the upper Brass and any VIP's at PIR, some will be "body snatchers". You will see these Sailors/Recruits at PIR going up and sown the lines of formations asking if the Sailors are all right. They are instructed NOT to lock their knees when standing in formation as they could pass out ( I remember this from my high school band days!)...they are there if someone does. There are other jobs too. Typically the 900 Divisions perform at the two PIR's preceding there own and also at their own.
My daughter is also Ship 02 Div. 922
Hello Mackay, Where are you from?

We are from south Louisiana, Lake Charles close to Texas border.
How is it down there? How you are doing? I still get teary alot but its getting better slowly
I wish we could hear more often. The wait is hard. It took 11 days to get the form letter. He wrote that P days were horrible. So I can only imagine what comes next. He said he wouldn't be able to write for 2 more weeks.
