For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Our form letter came today!
Is such a big relief to have something now.
My son is in ship 3 div 115 instead of this division as I had thought. But we all still moms and loved ones of a sailor and I can't wait to meet you all at graduation. -

I am so glad that you got your form letter!! Now you can relax a little and write him a lot of letters. That's right we are all moms of a sailor and are here for each other. I look forward to seeing you at graduation as well.

Hi. I received my son's box and form letter. We are all so excited and already planning our trip to Great Lakes! We are probably going to get our plane tickets this week. I have mailed my son the letters I wrote and I know his fiancee sent about a million more! I can't wait to get an actual letter from him!

I come home to a voicemail from my SR needing more info for his security clearance and telling where to fax it. I get a call and I'm at work :-(

hello Ladies! My 20 y.o son is in ship 04, div119.
we have rcvd his box last week and letter about pir on saturday. i can not wait to rcv his letter in more details.
we already have made reservation for plane tickets, hotel - ramada and car. Hope to see you all very soon.

Hi Ladies;
I wanted to join this group because I know one of the recruits there. I have a sailor stationed in Bahrain. Her PIR date was October 08, 2011. Proudest moment of my life watching her graduate and I encourage eacha nd everyone of you to go to Chicago the day your sailor's PIR! My daughter was ship 3 Div 333, and had 966 sailors in her group. Any way I am here for support if any of you have questions about letters, communication or just need to bend someones ear. I met some wonderful people on this site and you all will too.
