Kitty, you're so right and thanks.  My son wrote about the Ice Cream Party too but he also wrote how it made him appreciate all the wonderful people he had in his life. They are so close to PIR!!  Can't wait to give our new sailors the hug that they deserve.  WOO HOO 17 MORE DAYS!!!

It was mailed Feb 22nd. In the letter before that WED he said he couldn't for a while. He need to sleep and study. Then on FRI we got another one which was DOWN. He address this one only for his Daddy. I think so too! The really are being PUSHED to the MAX I think. But it is hard not to be able to put your arms around them. You ladies KNOW what I mean! Only you guys truly know how it feels to want to help your child the way you always have but can't. But the man will come out of them with all of this that is the prize. (GOOD GODLY MEN)

Hi, my son is on Ship 09, Div. 087, and graduating on 3/16....but I have not receive information about the graduation yet.

I'm in Lancaster, PA

Thelma.  You are in the right group.  Have you received any letters from your son?  I think we get more information on N4Ms than they do LOL

Welcome aboard!

Thelma- The information we got is in the form letter.  Did you get that?  If not, I am sure we can get you a contact to get the information you need.

I did get a letter today, dated the 26th. He said basic is going good. He got his "Marksman" ribbon.  He can't believe that 6 weeks of being up there in GL has flown by.  This was week 5, 5-1 was Monday, according to his letter. Next week is week 6 and they will be getting ready for BS21.  They are the first ones through BS21 and done with training in the training group.  Also, they are the first division, from what their RDCs are telling them, to enter the Drill Hall on Mar. 16th! That's great news, isn't it?

How is everyone holding up?  Looking forward to hearing how your SRs are doing.

Welcome Thelma!

I didn't get a letter today (pout)...it has really been a long time since the last one (pouting again!) The last letter was dated 2/14 and 2/15 (he added some stuff onto the 2/14 letter). I met the postman at the mailbox today. With a smile. Tomorrow I'm lying down in the middle of the road like a speed bump. It's gonna get ugly up in here!

Minor please don't do that!! The pic I have in my mind...........Well lets just say that is NOT a pretty sight lol lol

Thelma girlfriend you have been bless extra!!! This is the best group of praying, down to earth, not going to be down in the mouth, most uplifting, mommas!!!! These gals are the very best. Ok who is your SR? I have TN (nickname). One has a ROY BOY, one is Q, Jon, Tim and more!!
