I know that must be hard to hear..(((hugs)))

My son's note was a bit more positive. It said he is still adjusting and the RDCs are tough but he is doing good and he thinks they will have have one of the best divisions. He misses family and can't wait to PIR.

Maybe an actual letter will be better.

I got the same note! Hopefully, things will work out for both of our daughters and they become strong, independent women!

My boyfriend is in ship 12 div 121 too, his letter was short and was received by his parents. He sent his love but not much information otherwise.
I heard slot of ladies talking about pir and their scarve colors already, would you all like to do a certain scarf color so we may be able to meet at pir? Just tossing the idea out there!

That would be grand, Stephen's Girl! Just keep us all in the loop about what options are there....

I was so hoping for a letter this week..nothing yet.  The last letter I received was the form letter Feb 24th.

No letter yet, just the form letter. I did get a FB message from my son requesting more information for his background check but it was very to the point and just what he needed emailed. I found it odd and checked with his recruiter and RTC before emailing it to the person he requested.

So ladies I found out if the phones are tied up, they are able to send a message through email or FB if they need information for anything. It's driving me crazy not being able to hear his voice or even getting a letter to know how he is doing. Maybe a letter next week!

My boyfriend is also division 121!

BigD-I'm in the same boat. Still waiting for the first real letter. Keep hanging in there though it will get here soon enough.
Shermur- I know a lot of mom go through lala to get specialized scarves. The 800 div already claimed black and gold, and another division claimed green.
Tiffany-glad to have you!also great to meet another girlfriend in the group. My boyfriend left 2/16 for bc. Have you gotten a letter yet??

Thanks! No letter yet just the form letter. I sent my letter out to him on wed. So hopefully I get something back next week!!

Stephen's Girl....thanks for the update, sweetie! Darn...black and gold already taken (MU colors)? What do you think about navy and gold?

Tiffany-i know how you feel, but chances are youll get a letter from him before he gets yours. Their mail Is sometimes delayed a little bit.
