Tornadoes swept through the area yesterday afternoon. Sirens began ringing at 4:00pm. We were spared, but neighborhoods and communities just south of us were hit. My SR was allowed to call home and check on us this morning. We spoke for 30 sec. Roy Boy was calling home next. He does live south of us. I hope all is okay.
My prayers go out to all those affected.
Kitty, I am so glad everyone is ok. Our storms started here at 9:45 am. All the schools in Middle TN was getting out early on Fri. The storms was supposed to start around 3 pm here but we had most stated a lot earlier!! There was a community about 25 miles from us that was hit really bad. About 70 homes where destroyed of damaged. Didn't have anyone killed THANK the good LORD. There was a story in the paper about finding a little girl in a field 10 miles from where she was from. She lived in IN found in KY. I heard later she was a baby. She was a live but hurt really bad. OK it is question time who is ROY BOY's MOM? Is she on here or just the girlfriend? Ladies just think this time next week hopefully we will have SAILORS!!!!!!! HOOYA!!!!!!!!!
Glad y'all are OK. That little girl died this evening from a brain injury:(
Oh no I hate to hear that. I was so hoping and praying after all that she would make it.
On a lighter note. I found out TN gave blood on Feb 27th @ 9 am. The sent him a thank you on his email.

I'm so glad all is well with everyone in our group after the storms on Friday. So much devastation and loss was suffered by so many and here I sit planning for one of the best days of my life - PIR next Friday!!!...I wish everyone in the world felt the way I do right now.
My son has been sick with a virus so this could be a tough week for him. They have come so far and the day they have worked so hard for is almost here! i have not seen the Battlestations schedule for 3/16 PIR yet but my son said to keep the phone close this Friday starting at 3:00 p.m. YEAH FOR PHONE CALLS!!
I've been making piles of things to pack so I don't forget anything. I just got my ribbons today from Lala and they are amazing:) I hope I get to meet all of you in 10 SHORT DAYS!!
WOOHOO DIV. 087!!
Robin your SR is good about telling all that is going on in the 087! When I see mine I am going to HUG him then ask: WHY IN THE WORLD DIDN'T YOU SHARE THE INFO THAT THE REST OF 087 did!!!! lol lol TN he beats with a whole set of a different drums!! Bless his skinny little heart. 3;00pm he said. I told my hubby to try to work around home FRI. He missed the other call. I sure want him here for this one. THE RIBBONS WAS GREAT!!!!!!!! They looked so good. She does good work.
Hey did anyone order division shirts? I had already order sweatshirts and I didn't know about the t shirts. It is supposed to have the division flag on them. You can order them after PIR. But they don't post what they will look like until after PIR.
I am so hyper I can't stand myself!! The closer it is the worst I am!!! I feel like I have a ton of sugar. SEE Y'ALL SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO 087!!
Robin just saw a pic of your SR. He looks just like you!!! Very handsome young man.
Aaah thanks:) Do tell? Did you find me on FB?
Trust me when I say, my boy was not a talker. I had to pry stuff out of him. He has just been overflowing with info the past few weeks. I joked with him that we are giving up cell phones and writing letters for now on!
I didn't get shirts, just the ribbons and I may make my own scarves. We don't do scarves in Fla. so they are still work in progress - like me:)
I can't wait for next week. I warned my co-workers and husband that they won't be able to stand me this week. I'm wired for sound but I better get some sleep. I'm be chatting with you again.
Are y'all sure we're getting phone calls this Friday? The reason I ask is because I know someone that has a PIR of 3/9, and they are just now doing BS.

Our division is coming in first. I think this was a good video of what to expect.
Paula, did you see my reply to your message about BS? It wouldn't let me reply so I sent it as a message. I thought I had this site figured out - apparently not:)
