Hey guys,

My name is Monika and I am Kims niece, plenty of you know Kim. She told me about the packages awhile ago and she knew I was into couponing and asked if we could get some items together. I have given her a few small boxes of items from my stockpile. Last month I got to look at the list for needed items for the Makin Island and I realized how many of those items you guys can get for FREE or cheap with using coupons. I was able to donate a bunch of gum and razors I barely paid anything for, the razors were totally free I just paid tax on them and the gum was $0.28 a pack.

This month a new list means new ways to get items for free! Now for those that aren't familiar with how to coupon you can read a bit about how to get started there.

Place to print coupons:
Redplum Coupons
Smartsource Coupons
Coupons.com
Coupon Network

For April so far there have been some deals already:

$1/1 Reach Floss from 3/4 RP=FREE at Wal-mart and you may make a little money

$1/1 Reach Toothbrush from 3/4 RP=Cheap toothbrushes, possible drug store deal

$0.09 Lifesavers Candy!

There will be plenty of more deals coming and each month there are always freebies/cheap items. I will post the ones I know of here for you guys.

If you have ANY questions please feel free to ask, I know couponing can seem overwhelming but it's really easy once you get the hang of it.

Also another way of getting items for the care packages is samples, tons of companies give these out all the time and I post the legit ones I also sign up for via my website.

Also for those already couponing and have coupons you won't use, try Coupon Cutters Co, she has a trade in program for those unwanted coupons and you can use your credit to purchase the coupons you can use! I personally use her.

WOO-HOO Thank you so much this will come in handy for us ----and how amazing that we have someone willing to do the foot work and find these, all we have to do is shop !!!   YIPEEEEEEE

Is there a way to edit my original post or do we have to just reply to it. I didn't want the new deals to get lost in the mix.

Ah I figured it out lol

Aww! Thank you so much for doing this for us!!!

Not sure if we have a need for lens solution or not but there is a FREEBIE plus get paid to take it out of the store at Wal-mart I updated the list with. So you can get it and still score about $0.30 towards something else in your purchase.

For those that didn't know Wal-mart allows overage aka if a item is $1.00 and your coupon is $1.50 they will apply the $0.50 towards your purchase OR give you the change back after the transaction is complete and they owe you money. (Hope that didn't confuse anyone)

Welcome Monika!!

This sounds like fun--  but do you ever post specials for stores other than Walmart?  The closest Walmart is over an hour away so I rarely get there.  But when I do make the trip I will be watching this spot for the specials to pick up for my stash for the troops!!

Just let me know what stores you have and I can find the deal Susan :D

In Pryor we just have Walmart and Homeland but I also do deals for Walgreens and the other drug stores!

My biggest piece of advice is to start buying at least 1 paper every sunday and if you know people that don't keep their coupons ask them for them(this goes for everyone) EVERY coupon counts, even if we don't use it we can send it in for credit for ones we can use!

Just asked all the guys in the office to bring their coupons in on Mondays!!  Where do we send the unused coupons??  How do we ask for credit?? Are we putting that credit under MAS??

Here in WA we have Walgreens!

At the top post I linked a site called Coupon Cutters Co, she's the one that does the trade in program, and just do it under your own name so then you can order coupons you can use and such as well. Make sure to read all about the trade in program as well.

Thank you for doing this Monika. Of course, you know that you have one of the best Aunt's in the world, don't you?

One of our adoptions mentioned that they like MIO Water Enhancer. If you run across any good deals/coupons, would you give me a heads-up, please? Pat

Pat funny you mention that there was a $1/1 in the 2/26 SmartSource insert. There is also a $1/1 on target.com that you can print. At Target you can use Target & Manufacturer coupons on the same item so you can get $2 off one Mio(Not sure on a price for it at target though) Walgreens also have a coupon book at the front of their store that should have a $1/1 coupon and they work just like target with the one store and one manufacturer coupon per item.

Hope I didn't confuse you too much with that.

Thanks, Monika, I'm on it!!!!
