You know, Kathy, I have been told that many times but even though they are not dead, God forbid for that, I think this is similar to that, wouldn't know and don't want to experience it.  I don't like it when they repeat it and don't understand that there is something missing in our lives, our heart has a hole and it hurts just to think they are not at home.

You are right praying does help and we should pray for us and our boys!!!

Gracie

Today is a GREAT day... We received 3 letters. The first one he sounded depressed and tired. The second he was just MAD.. He hadnt gotten any letters from us. ( I have sent 16 out the day after I got his address and atleast one everyday since) His last letter that he wrote on sunday before mail he was very upbeat. He has made alot of freinds 6 of them are  going to San Antonio for A school. (Joanne I am sure he must know your Matt. That makes me so excited) Oh ya and he thanked me for the 23 letters he got in one day. lol they must have been setting some where. He did say that on Monday the 5th they had a  six hour holiday that they could do anything but ofcourse he volinteered to stand watch for his friend.

I am still praying for our boys and praying for my new friends and I hope you all got your letters TODAY. thank you all for your thoughts and prayers I love this site because we are all here for one another. I do hope we get to meet at PIR or the night before. I think it would be a great idea to wear something to destinguish ourselves.

Blessings, Kathy

Alleluah!!! I received a letter from my son Anthony today, 3/8. I could hardly read through my tears my husband had to take over. He sounds good, but gave us news that 6 SR's have gone home since the beginning. He say's it's very tough, but he's not gonna quit. Oh and his feet ache every day from standing... long, long days, my poor baby.

I'm just so happy to receive his letter. I hope you all receive your letters soon.

God Bless,

Rose

Rose

I am so happy for you and your family as well as mine. I feel like a little school girl that just got told she could have any piece of candy from the candy store. Joe did not tell me they had anyone leave but he did say he thought about it but would not leave. He did mention that their RDC's were normally with the Navy seal training so they are getting their butts kicked. LOL my skinny boy may come out with muscles. He did tell me that he helps other guys alot (I wouldnt expect anything else) He even volunteered to stand watch for someone else on Monday. I have asked Joe if he knows Anthony, Matt, Erick and Cody. With their division being so many I know the chance isnt that great but I have been praying.  Looking forward  to hearing if Gracie and Joanne got their letters.

Blessings,

 Kathy

Ladies, I don't know what I do but I am somehow deleting my posts and it frustrates me having to write everything all over again.  I received a letter today and am soooo Happy!!  As I was reading it, I was shedding tears and had to pause several times because my voice was breaking from crying.  Erick says he is doing good, that it is tough and that he can't wait until he sees us in April/  He says he is looking forward to all the love and all that because over there is much different than life at home.  There's a lot of yelling involved.  They only have 15 minutes to eat.  They get up at 5am, sometimes 4am and they go to sleep at 10pm.  He got his uniform and he says it's nice and feels amazing to wear it.  He thanked me for making him the man he is today and for supporting him.  He says he wants letters, lots of them and pictures.  Kathy, Rose, Joanne, I know you ladies are as PROUD of our boys as we are.  Love them and let's keep praying and writing to them.

now I really can't wait for my call.  I can't wait for meeting you ladies who have been great at helping me go through this roller coaster.  Thanks for all the support to all of you in this wonderful page.

Blessing,

Gracie

Ok that is 3 of the four of us. I will keep praying for you Joanne. I hope you got your letter today if not then tomorrow. I am very anxious for next Thursday. Codys girl you are very lucky he got mail duty.lol

Blessings,

Kathy

Good Evening My New Dear Friends,

I received Matt's letter today!!!! He seems to be o.k He is getting his mail and said that he reads everynight my letters before he goes to sleep. He said he got sick already. It's very hard he said and misses us very much. He did say the food is good. Which is great because he is a very particular eater he even said  he thinks he gained weight. Which is good because he is skinny!!!!! He also said there is alot of yelling, He should be used to it having me as a mother and Italian catholic from New York!!!!!!!He said he made alot of new friends and they feel like a family. He has learned to fold beds and fold his clothes and shine his boots.  Thank you ladies for all of your support. I pray every minute for our sons and daughters to give them God's strength to get through this.

We can all sleep a little easier tonight,

Joanne

I am so glad we all got letters today, I was getting worried that we hadn't.  We now have to wait for the call from our boys.  I agree with you Joanne, we can sleep a little easier tonight.  I am excited to hear that we all heard from our children and they  seem to be doing good.  I am so looking forward to meeting you all at the meet and greet at Sarge's.  Do we know where we can get navy tshirts to wear that day or have we decided to do something different?  Please let me know where we can buy some navy shirts that are not that expensive.  I was looking for you ladies on the regular facebook page so I can request as friends on my personal fb page.  Let me know if this is possible for us to do.

Blessings,

Gracie

Gracie

I sent you a request so I can give you my FB user name. I have to confess I think I am on N4M more than I am on FB anymore. I would love to accept a request from all. I think FB is easier but I am afraid I will miss someones notes if we all dont exchange. And what about new members like Skyla. Oh well I guess we could use both or use FB and just check in here once a day.

Blessings,

Kathy

Hello Everyone, Gracie, Kathy, Joanne and Cody's girl (sorry forgot your name),

Well we've all received our first of many letters (let's hope). They all sound about the same... aching feet & backs, lack of sleep, yelling. At least they agree on the "good food."

Gracie, there is a website www.4armedforces.com that has navy blue t-shirts with NAVY and the emblem on it for $12. I've looked at other sites and this one and another one that I can't remember has the lowest price, so far.

I will be booking my flight tomorrow as I will finally have the $$. I might not get into town until 6 or 6:30 so I think we'll go straight to Sarge's M&G from the airport. I don't want to miss a thing!!

Loving & Praying for you all from here,

Rose

Yes please go straight so we can see you there.  I am going to look into the t-shirts.

 Thanks,

My Navy mom friends, I am so happy for us!!   Let's keep praying and let's hope for more letters and our first call!!

Blessing,

Gracie

Hi guys, I'm skyla! My husband is in Ship-04 Div-120 also!! I haven't gotten a letter yet. It was really nice to hear that some of you have though!!! I'm not sure how many I have sent him already. I was a little afraid that he wasn't receiving them.
