I got my form letter too. Mine is in 12/125, so we can write to them now??
yes! :o) What date is your graduation? PIR
I haven't yet still waiting got the kid box yesterday..Boy that was emotional.. Hopefully I will get the packet soon. My son went to BC on the Mar 1.
Oh i know it took me 3 days to open mine....
how long did it take to get the first letter, my man left on march 1st .......i miss him like crazy, and just want to write to him, andhear that he is ok. His box came a few days ago.
Hey my son left to BC on the 1st also..I just got the form letter today..he is in Ship 07 Div 129 let me know if you got you letter it should be soon
They have my daughter's graduation date (tentative I guess) as April 20th. She left on Feb. 28th, and is 12/125.
My little one has been away at school for 4 years. She has been in Chicago and I live in West Virginia. So her "kid box' went to her roommate and not me. I don't have the "physical" withdrawl that some of you Mom's are experiencing but it sure difficult to know that I can't call or email her whenever I want. I didn't realize we stayed in touch so much until now! I also worry about how difficult bootcamp is for her. Not an athletic girl by any means and not particularly disciplined!! I find myself saying little prayers all the day through for her and hoping and praying that she is doing alright! Both of her Grandfathers did their boot camp at Great Lakes.
teresa - Did she send her Form Letter to her roommate too? They only send one out and it has her mailing address , her PIR (equate graduation) date and all of the info for PIR...Pass-in-Review...the ceremony at the end of BC.
Here is the PIR group on here that you can join to get information about Boot Camp, PIR and to connect with other moms, family members of recruits at BC. There will also be "veteran" moms (moms who have been through thie) to answer questions and lend support. Please join!
Thank you very much, but she did send her form letter to me, and I have joined and am relying heavily on the information and support from other Boot Camp Moms!
i hardly hear from anyone in ship 07 div. 127, that is where my son is... and NO LETTER YET ... i am so happy for you... our PIR is 4/27 .. is that the same for you ?
