Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Some of the other ship/div have chosen a color & to get scarfs, should we do the same?? Anyone interested and if so what color?

I am on cloud 9.  I just got to talk to talk to my son.  I am so happy.  He started to get upset and say he didn't like it but by the end of the conversation he was fine and said there was mail on it's way to me.  I can't wait to see him.

So exciting!! Did he call?

Yah!!!!! I just got a call, he sounded great!!! I am so happy I won't be able to sleep!!! He loves it.....We are doing the HAPPY DANCE!!!!! He was sore at first but all the pains have worked their way out. The food is good and letters are in the mail. He loved the letter from the dog.

My daughter got a call today. She was on cloud 9 and remains there tonight even. I happened to be out-of-town so missed it altogether. Yay for all the calls today :)

I got my call today too! even after all ive been warned about the first phone call and to write down all questions and everything you want to say i still forgot! It was just so great to talk to him finally! and im hoping they will get to call again soon! i told my hubby that ive been on this site a lot talking to SR's gfs moms and fiances and he asked me what was the name of the recruits and i had no idea! lol  but it sounds like hes making friends and working really hard :]

wow! i tried the trivia tuesday on the recruit training command facebook (http://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand) and i missed it! these other s/o's are fast! gonna try again next week! would love to see a picture of our SR's division!

That would be awesome. I know my daughter tried last week and got pretty close.

Daughter got a letter today from SR.

okay...last week I got a letter on Wednesday ,,,and today.. no letter :( 

should I cheer up and hope for tomorrow? ...or plan on next week??

I vote for tomorrow for your letter, not next week :)

Mail has came and went today... still no letter this week :(
