I'm already thinking about graduation!! Sometimes it's seems like forever,  then some days I can see light at the end of the tunnel..Hope our sailors can stay encouraged throughout  Peggy Banner's pillowcase is gonna be a big hit!  HUGS

Heard from my son today... did you know that after class is over they can change into civies for study time if they are E4?  Mondays are Thug day

Tuesday... couldn't understand what he said

Weds... Dress Like a Rich Boy

Thursday... White t-shirt day

Friday... I think he said Hawaiian shirt day.

At least they are having fun!  Thursday this week is E5 rate test, Friday is Chemistry Test and next Tuesday will be Reactor Principles Test.  Please be praying for our Sailors!

Well, hubby and I got to go out for a little bit by ourselves this past weekend (our neighbor watched our 18 month old son for us), and we went to the bowling alley on base. Quiltblue, your son was there, he was part of our group on our lane even, and there were 7 other guys we were kind of bowling with! It was pretty funny to see how they act when they are able to have fun and not have to focus on studying and everything. We were cosmic bowling, and a couple of the guys on the lane next to us (they were with us), go every weekend and dress for the occasion. One of them had on a white shirt, white shorts, white knee socks, white wrist bands up both arms, and a white headband! Another one had a neon yellow shirt on and black shorts with neon yellow stripes, and the other had on an orange shirt, orange shorts, and tie dye leopard print leggings! They glowed more than anyone else in the crazy lights, and were all about dancing and being funny. I was even a little jealous of the leopard print leggings! And to top it off, they had super hero names as their bowling names. They were Flash, Wonder Woman, and Thor, and another guy bowling with them was The Hulk. My husband got the nickname Ocho! after the first 2 games because he kept knocking 8 pins down on his 1st throw, and I am known by all of his friends as "Lady Bell". We had a pretty awesome time!

So was my son "The Hulk" LadyBell?  I like that name for you!  It would not surprise me if my son dressed up, he made so many costumes through the years for the Anime Conventions. You gotta take photos!

DanielleBell - -how fun!

Prayers going up for our Sailors today. Have heard there was a Public Masting for DUI and underage drunk passenger.

Good morning, Ladies.  My "info" says 1201 has Chemistry Materials & Radiological Fundamentals   - CMR2 - tomorrow. (When we were in GC last month, wrote down the schedule for the month.) Praying for brains to soak in the last of the studying before then. Unless there's been a change, no more tests until next Friday, 3/30 - the widowmaker - RP3.  Can't believe we're getting close to that point.  Have a great day!  It's a bright, sun-shiney day in Georgia.  : )

Ugh... my Sailor is still needing to get a regrade on his last test... I will leave him alone to study. Just finished having a major rain storm that lasted almost 15 hours straight, close to 4 inches of rain at our house. We need the rain, glad we did not have tornadoes with it.

He passed because of the regrade... thank you JESUS!

Praying for all of 1201 as they prepare for the BIG ONE tomorrow. Can't believe it's here. Hope all are well and we moms rest well tonight as we hope for the very best for our Sailors.
I am so very happy... less than 8 weeks now until Power School is over! My husband and I are planning on attending graduation on 5/25... anyone else going?
My Sailor passed Materials test today! Yay!
Yay for passing Materials today, Quiltblue!
Haven't heard from mine....may not.
