Michy54,
Welcome to our little group. You can call his recruiter and they can check on him. I am going to request you as a friend so we can switch our boys last name. ( that is how they know each other) . We have recieved letters from Joe and he knows many of the boys here on this site.
Blessings,
Kathy
Hi Ladies,
Reading through all your post and I see that no one has received their call yet, I'm so sorry. Just keep the faith and the calls will come flooding in!!! Maybe their division got in trouble for something and no one can call out right now, just a thought. Just know that your boys would be calling everyday if they could. From our call from Anthony on Mon. we could tell that he was homesick from his questions about his room (which his sister took over), my home cooked meals and his friends.
I pray that each one of you gets your call tonight.
Loving you all from here (LUFH),
Rose

Good Evening Ladies,
No call yet it is 6:40 here in Atlanta still praying. I did get a letter today!!!!!! He sounds much better than his first letter. He wrote it on 3/11/2012 and told me that he is having his wisdom teeth removed the next day which was Monday. I felt so bad for him, I couldn't believe it. He was at the DDSa couple of months ago and they said they were fine. I felt so bad that I am not with him to take care of him after he had this done. On the brighter side he knows all of your boys he said he is friends with them and they are very cool!!!!!!! He also wrote that he knows we bought our plane tickets and their is a chance he will be leaving for San Antonio on Saturday night. He said they will not find out anything exact till 4 days before graduation. He also said on Monday they started 3-1 week of training. He said that he was looking foward to this because they do the fun stuff now!!!!
I feel a little easier but I am still wanting that call so bad. Also welcome Michelle happy that you found us!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy for you. I am glad Matt told you what day they were on because I have been wondering. Joe also had his wisdom teeth pulled Monday. Its funny becasue Joe was just at the dentist for his cleaning a couple weeks before he left. Saturday NIGHT... That makes me very happy because I have heard that they got to airport as early as 2 am Sat. morning... Still praying one of us mom get a call tonight.
God Bless,
Kathy

Hugs sound so good right now. I feel like I am going to break any minute. My boys look a lot alike even though there is six years differences. I cant help it but I keep calling Michael (our youngest) Joe. I don't mean it but I do it without thinking. I know it is affecting him also because he is back sleeping on the trundle in his sisters room. I try so hard to think before I speak to him but it slips out sometimes. I have talked to him about it and apologized and he just says "no biggie". I never thought I was such a weak person, I am always the strong one but this is really hard for me.
God Bless you,
Kathy
Kathy, Joanne,
Sorry no calls tonight. I know this is tough for you. Hang in there!
I did get a letter today, but it was short and sweet. We've sent out dozens of letters and he's only received 2, what's up with that? The reason his letter was short was because during our call I told him i had lots of questions for him and he wanted to answer all of them, but had no letter to respond from, go figure. I guess they'll all come pouring in and he will have plenty to tell us next week, at least that's how I look at it, haha!
You are all in my prayers daily,
Rose

so happy you got a letter. A short letter is better than no letter I figure. Joe's are not real long but I figure that's ok because I am happy to just get them. They don't usually have a lot of information that I want to know but there is things in them that make us laugh.
Joe also mentioned that his letters are not coming in everyday even though we send at least one a day. The first day that he received mail from us he said he got 20. My guess is they have recruits sorting so it will take time for them to learn the process.
Thanks I also pray for our new NAVY family daily.
Blessings,
Kathy
