Ladies,

Here I go agin not sleeping much wide awake at 3am. All I can think about is Matt. Kathy I know the feeling. Christopher is 10 and since Matt left I have been calling Matt instead of Christopher. The other day I went food shopping and came home my garage door opened Christopher was standing there to help unlooad the  bags. When I looked quick from the car I thought it was Matt. Matt always came out when I would pull up and unload the bags. They are 8 years apart!!!!!! My mind. Today is Friday lets pray tonight my cell will be in my BRA!!!!!!! Do they get to call on the weekends?  Pray pray for all of our boys.

Love,

Joanne

Yes they have! Get one of these!

Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this what I think it is?  LOL

Wow, this is too funny. I'm sure it makes for a lot of funny faces made your way, haha!

I am in the same boat, it was about to be 4am this morning and couldn't sleep. Erick was also the one bringing down all my groceries and putting them up for me.  Alberto, my little one is having a hard time now because he has to help me to bring down the bags with groceries, he still doesn't know where everything goes so we are working at it.  Erick did tell him before he left that he was going to be in charge of that now and he needed to see how he did it.  I miss him sooo much.

I got his questionnaire back and I have some questions.  Hopefully someone has answers for me.  One of the questions mentions loving Sharks. what is it talking about? He put that he hates it with a circle around a sad face.  I don't know what Sharks is. Another thing that is on that questionnaire is to watch out for those Ninja's and not to let the Ninja's get you, well he doesn't understand what that means and neither do I.  What is it talking about?  And what is Marlinspike or Captains' Cup? What is IT?  He answers on one of the questions that ask about his spiritual life: he puts he is learning what a sense of humor God has and for me to pray for him.

Does anyone know the answers to these questions or comments?  Please let me know.

He said he passed his swimming TEST,  YEY!!!

Thanks,

Blessing,

Gracie

Gracie,

When you were explaining this on the phone I hadn't a clue what you were talking about. Did you receive the questionnaire in the mail or is it online?

Sorry about no call yet. I'm praying for all you mom's that are waiting.

LUFH,

Rose

I got the questionnaire from this website.  I am going to try to get some zzz's now. I really haven't slept much.   I was able to sleep around 4am and I had to take my little Alberto to doctor at 9am so I got up early and now it's getting to me.  I hope I can sleep tonight.  Have a restful night every one and May God bless you and our children.  Keep praying for them and let's hope we get a call soon!!

Blessing,

Gracie

Gracie

here is what i found about the questions.

Navy boot camp workout sharks push ups etc

IT: Intensive Training is a disciplinary action for all sorts of infractions.

(Joe said they had this already because they failed the first inspection it wasn't to bad)

Marlinspike: A life-size model ship where Recruits practice mooring, line handling, and basic seamanship. It is also a metal cone shaped tool for working with wire rope.

Captain's Cup: A field day or sporting events, during which the divisions compete against each other for bragging rights.

And for Ninja (I thought it might be something we laughed about but NOT)

Non-Judicial Punishment, a legal proceeding much like a court-martial of much smaller scope. A commanding officer is authorized to award summary punishments at office hours (called Captain's Mast afloat) under Article 15, UCMJ, to punish offenses too serious to be dealt with by a mere rebuke, but not serious enough to warrant court-martial.

That last one shouldn't be put on the list in my opinion. I almost sent that questionnaire I'm so glad we revamped it and I left that one out....

Hugs,

Kathy

Kathy, thanks for the answers to the questions I had. I truly appreciate it. I've wondering what they were since Erick did answer most of them ecept the ninja one. Now it makes sense.
Thanks
Blessings
Gracie

Friends,

Its 8:30 here in Fl. and no call yet. But we still have time.

Hugs,

Kathy

No call here in Texas either and it's now 9:20pm.  Hopefully Monday, assuming they don't get to call on weekends. :(  I so wanted to get a call this week. My son and I have been with my phone and every time it rings, my little on is "I hope it's Erick, I hope it's Erick"  he thinks I am not listening but I can hear him in the background.  He wants to hear from his brother just as bad as me!!! We miss Erick soo much!  We will keep praying and wishing that they get to call home soon!!

Blessing,

Gracie
