Yes, Your SR is one of the mentioned names!

Yay!! it's like getting a little more insight into what our guys are doing. I am looking forward to PIR. if you are going to a meet and greet let me know which one please. I would love to meet you and your SR.

My family and l haven't talked about going to a Meet & Greet yet, but if we go to one I will surely let you know. Do you know what one you're going to yet?

Anyone going to a Meet and Greet?  If so, which one?  I'm thinking I may go to Sarge at the Sundance Saloon from 5:30 - 8 pm.

I'm so happy, I received a 20 minute call from my SR this afternoon.  He's doing very well and is looking forward to graduating and seeing his loved ones.  He said he earned a 15 minute call a week or two ago, but denied it because the whole division didn't get to make a call.  He told me we better plan on going to one awesome restaurant when we get there, because he wants some great food, and wants to take his time eating and savor every bite.  He also said they are on day 5-2.

Hi WendyJ! Our SR called today too! He called his GF and that is fine with us. She said that he sounded so good and is counting the days until graduation. He told her that he ran into one of the guys that he took PT with before boot camp. His friend was delayed and  is in his second week of boot.  T said that his friend had that "I hate my life" look on his face. T said he was so glad that he was past that point.

One of T's friends who joined the Navy after T came by yesterday to talk with us about his experience in boot camp. He gave us hints about getting a good place to sit during PIR. he filled us in on what we might expect after PIR. We may only get hours with him instead of a day. Fortunately I belong to this group and was prepared for that by FireTeamLeader in one of her posts. Brad laughed when I started talking about what I did know. He said "You joined NavyforMoms didnt you?" I guess his mom was a part of this site as well!

I guess I am so happy to know that T is doing so well that I have become Chatty Cathey!!

I think we have decided on the meet and greet at Sarges as well. It sounds like fun and i would love to meet you.

L.

Chazlyrn61 - Happy to hear your SR's GF shared her conversation with you.  What a bonus to have one of T's friends come over and share his boot camp experience with you.  It seems these days all my conversations with friends and co-workers is mostly Navy.  I can't help it, I'm so proud of all the men and women who have made the choice to serve.

Looking forward to meeting you at Sarges!

I think our crowd is going to Sarge's, as well.

Our SR called us and couldn't get us, so he left a message, then called his girlfriend.  He sounded ....different.  He was talking in muted tones, so that may have had something to do with it.  He says he is in excellent physical condition, doing well on all the inspections and tests and looking forward to graduation.  He says he's changed and he knows we will be proud of his changes.  Heck, we were proud of him before he left.

We are going to Sarge's also.  Can't wait---the time is ticking on by!!!!

Our plane doesn't land until 6, so we'll be a little late. Go ahead and start without us.

Thank you for the chuckle you just gave me, I can't wait to meet you.

I was stalking some of the PIR sites before ours and found this:
