Received his box on friday night from fed-ex was hoping his form letter would be inside. About how long afterwards does the form letter with his info take to arrive? Trying to plan vacation time around his PIR. Thanks!

My son arrived BC March 7, got the form letter March 17th.
Just got the box today.
I think most of us (with PIR 05/04) got the form letter *around* the same day I did, but most got their box before me.
My daughter arrived at BC on 3/20. If I figured the time correctly, her PIR date should be 3/18, but won't know for sure until I receive the form letter. We will most likely be at PIR at the same time. I am really anxious to get her address so I can send her the letters and cards I have ready. Guess we will have to learn patience! lol.
I've been trying to get her address from the recruiter but am not having any luck today. Very frustrating. Sent a text to her recruiter this morning around 0925 asking for the info and get a response of "ok". Have not received it yet and no one is answering at the office.
My son arrived at GL on 3/21. I received my box today. I can not wait to get the letter. Having no communication at all is taking a LOT of getting used to.
It seems very random when people receive their items...My daughter left 02-23, I received her box 02-28 and her letter 03-05, it was almost 2 weeks, her best friend left 03-13, they received her box 03-16 and her letter 03-21 so her's was only 1 week.
I was surprised by how quickly the box came (he left 3/22, box came 5 days later) - I wasn't expecting it for a few more days so it threw me off. I opened it but didn't go through it until the next evening. I thought I was fine, but since then my emotions have been right at the surface so I cry at the drop of a hat. Hopefully that will subside in a day or so... Haven't gotten the letter yet, but now I'm thinking it will come today, its been 7 days since he left.
