Hey,

My husband is in RTC right now and we will be moving to San Diego in June. Is there a forum for wives down there that I could connect with. Any ideas on getting to know wives that will be down there? Thanks!

I'll be moving to San Diego in June as well!!!!!

yay! Do you know of a group we can join? Which part of SD? Where is your husband now?

My husband is currently is in RTC right now too and we were both born and raised in San Diego.  He is going to be a reservist so we will be staying here.. Yay!  When is his PIR?

My husband graduates 3/30! 3 weeks!! When does your husband graduate? I love SD. I went to SDSU a few years ago for college and we have always said we would love to move back! What part of SD are you guys in? Is he in GL right now?

He is in Naval Base San Diego.  He is on a ship.  He wont be able to move into a place until it's time for me and my son to come up there.  I will miss Texas though.  I have so much family and many friends here.  I am very sad.

That is very difficult to start over, but thats why us girls gotta stick together. Are you both from Texas originally? When did you say you were moving?

Yes...we are both from Texas....born and bred. Lol.  Though, I lived in Louisiana for a year when I went to college there.  I guess the problem is, is that i'm gonna miss the South.  But....I know that I have to think positive and try to enjoy California so that my hubby won't feel bad. It will be a great experience for our son as well.  I think that I will be heading that way in June.  That's just an estimate, but I think June.

We just moved to San Diego and LOVE it.

Funny you say that, because we are planning on heading to the beach this weekend.  My hubby hasn't seen the Pacific Ocean.  We're originally from the East Coast.  What community are you guys going to be living in?

It was great.  Cold for me because I spent three years in South Florida, but they were VERY nice.  You can't beat the beauty of the Pacific Ocean!
