Hi All

Summer is coming and remembering last summer as the time I spent with my head in the trash digging for bottle caps. I was thinking of ways to alert the world as to what we do. Because we all know that grants don't  last forever and the way we show love they won't last long.

We really need to advertise more

Knowing that MAS wanted to start having a banner to ship every month and not wanting them to spend money on it. I volunteered to coordinate a monthly banner.

I will not be "in charge" or making the banner every month. I am just going to be back up if it is needed. MOM will be in charge and will, just didn't want to put one more thing on a person, because we all know not everyone likes doing the same things.

So if you have any ideas, what to work on one ....please let me know

The troopers have to clean up the glitter, so my GUESS is no.  But wait and see what someone else has to say.  Maybe stitch on some sequins here and there.

I can do some of the western states...CA, NV and Idaho if no one else wants them or has taken them already.

ok I have not heard anything so thought I better check if you got my email  and if you had any questions about sizes

Lauren, let me know specifics, and if you need Illinois, Missouri and Indiana.   Carol

Lauren, do the states have to be made of felt??  I went to Michael's yesterday but their color selection of felt was very limited.  I did find something that is the same thickness & weight as felt, altho not as flexible/fold-able as felt.  They called it "foam craft board"  would that work???  I can try to find another Michael's or maybe JoAnn Fabrics if felt is the way you want to go.

Thanks Lauren.

Are you still needed "state" shapes? I have a die cut machine program that has them all (also lettering/state flag/birds)....what sizes, color and what do they need to be made out of? Send me an email and I can get on this, if still needed.

Lauren,

What's going on with the banners?  I know you were very busy with the end of the school year, so I decided to wait until after the 4th -- when perhaps you've had a chance to take a deep breath!  lol

I got the email from you with templates for Maine, New Hampshire and New York, but my computer won't open them in the format you used.  Can you send them to me?

Also, what about the size of each panel?  Or, is it just the outline of the state and you are going to stitch them onto one large piece of material for a background?  I guess I need to see a picture of what you have in mind - I'm a visual learner...

Anxious to do something creative now that I'm feeling a lot more like myself these days.  A much skinnier me.  And, a me that moves more slowly than before, but back almost completely to being ME!!!

Let me know what you want me to do, OK?
