Thanks for the message regarding your son......let's definitely keep in touch! I try to get on this site every night but currently having computer problems. Should be fixed in a couple days.

♥FireTeamLeaderWife♥ aka FTLW is working on getting the 06/08/12 PIR and 06/15/12 groups up.  If you have gotten the form letter and are interested in starting the group, you can friend her and ask about it.  If not, keep an eye on the main page of this group or keep checking http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date to see when the group has formed.

Here is the link to the PIR 6/8 group...those of you who still aren't sure...join it anyway. There will be a TON of info posted in the discussion forum there and that will give you something to do besides fret and will give you a head start when you do find out your PIR date

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir-06-08-2012

Have you gotten a form letter from him Tammy?  My daughter-n-law hasn't but she called the recruiter for address. We just don't know when the PIR date is.  I feel connected now that I've found someone with that division! LOL

My son left on 4/12 and got there early am 4/13 and he called Sunday too. Did he tell you why he got to call? I was surprised to hear from my son and didn't ask. He only said he hadn't gone through medical or issued uniforms so he didn't think they would start week 1-1 until next week.  So I was happy to find someone in his same division unless it's different in the form letters.  His birthday was yesterday and it was the first time in 25 years I didn't get to talk to my son on his birthday.  I got really sad last night but better today.  I'll feel much better when I hear something from him.  I've already sent him 3 letters and one more on the way. He's going to tell me I'm overloading him.  Please let me know if you get your letter?  His will go to his new wife and she'll call but I'd still like to know.

We now know that this Division will have PIR on 06/15/12.  Watch the main page of the group for the link to the group when ♥FireTeamLeaderWife♥ aka FTLW posts it or http://www.navyformoms.com/forum/topics/groups-listed-by-pir-date.  She is looking for someone to start the group, so if you are interested send her a Friend request and ask about it.

The PIR 06/15/2012 TG 31 is now running at www.navyformoms.com/groups/PIR06152012

Thanks for starting that.

My son is in this division.  I got his form letter yesterday and have a stack of letters to send today!  I feel so much better just knowing that I will be hearing from him soon.  He is my first to leave the nest!
