Hello, Ladies. Our page has been very quiet lately. Went to GC this weekend & got to spend a little time with my Sailor and had the fun of meeting Sherry & her son and some of my son's buddies from 1201. I don't believe any of their moms are on any of our pages except quiltblue's son. Also got to write down the test schedule as I did on my last trip, so thought I'd share in case you're interested.
If anyone knows of a reason this should not be placed here, please let me know.
Wed is MTMO3 for MM's - Inrate for ET & EM, but I'm not sure of the name of the test..MERO3?

Monday 30th - RP5
5/3 MTMO4 (MERO4?)

I just found this group. My son graduates May 25 - I'm counting down the days until we go to Charleston! He just found out he will be starting Prototype June 11. My son is in 1201-3.

Hi Everyone,
It seems liIke forever since I have been on this forum. I hope everyone is well. It turns that graduation from Power School is the same day as my daughter graduates from High School. My son asked to see if I could book a flight to get him home in time to surprise her at her graduation. Since I'm in Arizona, there was no way unless he left at Goose Creek at 10 am. Oh well, it's the thought that counts. He doesn't talk much about school so what I am wondering, is there any way they could not graduate at this point? Is there some kind of "final"? Is there some kind of checklist and if you get too many checked off you are out? I have already bought my husband's ticket and booked his room. He will go either way. He got a 3.38 on the last test and just posted that he got a 2.92 on a ETRO-3. What ever that means. Any info would help. Thanks! Joann

JoannfromYuma: Howdy! Sorry that you won't be here, but so glad Dad is coming! Each test also carries points from what I am recently learning, so that gives them assistance in where and when Proto-type might be (how long Grad-Hold, etc.) From the grades you posted he is doing fine on that part, so don't worry. Once all the classes are over, he will have Comp tests (covers everything) and that will be the BIG challenge! What section of 1201 is your son/Sailor in? Is he ET, EM or MM?

YES Joann, I agree with Quiltblue, your son is doing GREAT! If he's getting those kind of scores, he's going to make it just fine! So sorry you can't all be everywhere the day of their graduations! I remember reading around the time of my son's PIR there were family's who had to make a choice between high school graduations and PIR. We'll try to help you look at your cup the "half-full" way and rejoice with you over having two children with great milestones this year! Congratulations! From what we've observed since being on the Nuke Mom sites, Grad Hold can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months or longer. No way to figure it out ahead of time! Assuming you know that Prototype can be in either Ballston Spa, NY or Charleston (not at Goose Creek). That's about all I have to offer at this point, but glad to hear from you. So exciting as they get closer to finishing this phase!

Just wanted to clarify, prototype in SC is in Goose Creek. It is down the road past where they go for A school and Power School.

Thank you for clarifying, Danielle! I hate giving out wrong info! I had heard it was in Charleston, I guess it was meant as the general area just like when they refer to NNPTC @ Goose Creek as being "Charleston". I just didn't question the wording since I knew they moved out of BEQs when they begin Prototype. OK, to make sure I'm not further mistaken, it isn't considered part of NNPTC, is it?

Hubby said he's not sure on whether it is considered part of NNPTC (if he even heard what I asked, he is watching the Detroit Tigers baseball game!). I think it is considered NPTU or something, but I only know what I am able to find online. So it's one or the other I believe!
My family is doing pretty good. Our little boy is growing bigger every day and he's hilarious and loves being crazy! I love his little antics, and watching him play with the dogs, and his daddy. We're anxiously waiting to find out if we're staying here for prototype or going to New York (he volunteered us to go to New York), if he's going to start prototype shortly after graduation, or if he's going to be on grad hold, and if so, how long... If he has a long grad hold, he wants to take some college classes. We're also planning our trip home to Michigan after power school graduation to visit family. I'm taking the car in tomorrow to be looked at to see what I need to get fixed before we make that long of a trip again (pretty sure I need brakes, and need shocks and/or struts).
Can't wait for power school graduation, and the chance to meet you, and Quiltblue!
