Hey guys,

My name is Monika and I am Kims niece, plenty of you know Kim. She told me about the packages awhile ago and she knew I was into couponing and asked if we could get some items together. I have given her a few small boxes of items from my stockpile. Last month I got to look at the list for needed items for the Makin Island and I realized how many of those items you guys can get for FREE or cheap with using coupons. I was able to donate a bunch of gum and razors I barely paid anything for, the razors were totally free I just paid tax on them and the gum was $0.28 a pack.

This month a new list means new ways to get items for free! Now for those that aren't familiar with how to coupon you can read a bit about how to get started there.

Place to print coupons:
Redplum Coupons
Smartsource Coupons
Coupons.com
Coupon Network

For April so far there have been some deals already:

$1/1 Reach Floss from 3/4 RP=FREE at Wal-mart and you may make a little money

$1/1 Reach Toothbrush from 3/4 RP=Cheap toothbrushes, possible drug store deal

$0.09 Lifesavers Candy!

There will be plenty of more deals coming and each month there are always freebies/cheap items. I will post the ones I know of here for you guys.

If you have ANY questions please feel free to ask, I know couponing can seem overwhelming but it's really easy once you get the hang of it.

Also another way of getting items for the care packages is samples, tons of companies give these out all the time and I post the legit ones I also sign up for via my website.

Also for those already couponing and have coupons you won't use, try Coupon Cutters Co, she has a trade in program for those unwanted coupons and you can use your credit to purchase the coupons you can use! I personally use her.

Today was an awesome coupon day -- bought $31 worth of product at Walgreens but only spent $15.  Then bought $89 worth of product at Walmart but spent only $21.  Part of it was for my home and part for MAS.  Walgreens has a wonderful deal: buy $10 worth of their Nice! (house brand) products and get $2 RR back to put toward future purchases.  A lot of the Nice! products were buy-one-get-one-50%-off, including trail mix, oatmeal, cereal bars and a whole bunch of other stuff destined for MAS boxes.  Also found a $7 off coupon for Allegra allergy medicine which was on sale at Walmart for $5.89.  Had 9 coupons on hand so it took about $9.90 off my total bill.  Since the Allegra is an over-the-counter medicine can we send it to the sailors/soldiers or should I give it to family and friends here?

For those that shop at Target you can get bags of Lifesavers candy for only $0.09! Read about the deal here and it'll tell you what coupons to print. Remember you can print 2 coupons per computer!

Thank you! I printed mine out :)

There are $0.49 gummy bears starting 4/29 at Walgreens! You can print the coupon and see the deal here

Monika:  Thank you so much for starting this.  I'm headed over to Coupons.Com before my weekly shopping......

You welcome! There's also redplum.com and smartsource.com for printable coupons!

I post LOTS of deals and freebies on my website Deal Searching Mama so if you ever are looking for a deal just come search on it!
