Got my form letter. Woo Hoo.
I had a son graduate from Navy boot camp Sept 1, 2011 so this is my second go around.
The time does not seem to be going by any faster and I am having all the same roller coaster emotions as last time.
I will answer any questions for first timers. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Candlewood Suites Link below. Someone mentioned on the groups pages that there is also a big soccer tournament that weekend of PIR so I suggest regardless of where you stay that you reserve a room soon. Most hotels do not charge until you arrive so you are not out anything and can cancel your reservation if you need to or change plans.

HI navy Family. My daughter is in this Ship 7 Div 193. She left from Seattle. And she is going to A school in Meridian, Mississippi for Yeoman. We just got our daughter's first letter. She is having a hard time right now. I hope by the time she sends another letter home, she will be a little more positive. I know she is okay. But It is hard knowing she is unhappy and struggling.I am really proud of her. I'm looking forward to getting to know you..

Hi My son is Walt--- where at in GA? We are from PA but I have family in Ringgold GA area.
Wow so close--- Yes luckily there street wasn't touched-- power out for 4 days and my nephew/niece's work was destroyed
just got my daughter's second letter and she is having a rough time also, she has asked to go home and it's not the RDC's, it's because of a recruit they made second in command who is making it rough on her, i also hope that things get better for her, she wanted this so bad, and has worked so hard, and it's been almost a month and no phone call as yet, i talked to her recruiter today and he told me they get to call by the second week, has any one else's child called.
Happy Mother's day !
Hope you had a good one as well. Would've been better to have heard from our kids!
