I wanted to start this discussion for ship 3 div 174 - let's connect so we get closer to our recruit!

No new mail today from my SR today also! Oh well - I keep writing and I know he is happy to receive my letters so that's all that matters! I try to write every other day so he at least keeps getting mail on a regular basis which is positive for him as he really needs it more!  PIR 6/08 is certainly getting closer!  It will be here before we know it!

Got a call again. He said they did well so they earned the call! Sounded upbeat although he was kicking himself for flubbing an inspection question.

No - I didn't receive a call - so you are lucky!:) Oh well - this is still the best Mother's Day so far!  so exciting they received a second flag - my son told me they already won a flag for Test 1 so that's great they got another!  BTW - their division flag has Poisidon on one side and a jet on the other according to my son!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOU ALSO AND ALL THE OTHER SR MOMS:)

Hope you ladies don't mine a latecomer. I've just gotten news that my son was transferred to this division. Just wish I knew the details as to why he got set back 2 weeks :(

Welcome, and happy to have you. My son is in div 173. So Sorry about your son having to repeat 2 weeks, the up side, he has the inside scoop for his fellow RC's as what to expect. As the saying goes, if first you don't succeed, try try again.

Im kinda worried about my son. Seems everyone got calls this weekend, except me. Hang in there.

Janie

Happy Mothers Day to all! Please don't worry too much if u didn't get a call yesterday. My son said that marching drills ran late so those who were assigned to watch duty did not have time to call. He said he tried to switch places with an SR who missed his call last time, but the chief wouldn't let them. They did earn a second flag, for a perfect score on their "gun " test. If they continue to go at this rate they are in line to earn "gold standard ", which gives them extra leave time after PIR. GO 174!

No worries here - I received a letter today - pleasantly unexpected for a Monday! and included a Happy Mother's Day wish - they have had their 2nd PFA which counts towards the divisional score -- so wishing they did well - only 24 more days until PIR - it will be so emotional!

Has anyone made a FB group for this division? It makes it much easier to communicate!

I will make one if no one has and enough want to participate...

Made it closed because I have heard that people from RTC try to read what is posted on here

Three weeks! Hope everyone is doing ok!
