Hi.  Are the families/guests seated according to where their sailor is, or is it haphazard so we might have trouble finding our graduate?

Also, does a person in attendance under the age of 18 need to have ID?

Thank you!

ID under 18 I do not know.

Patty

Thank you!  I was hoping that was the case.  Have a great evening!

Read the family guide.  It explains who needs an ID and what is acceptable.Family guide

thank you, I knew I had seen something somewhere about that.

My grandbabies have to have a birth cert. or social security card soooo.  They are 8, 3, and 1.

We enjoyed sitting on the top row so we could stand up and have a wall to lean on. You will see the division numbers posted so sit in that area. we had a very small group graduating, 600 sailors and most are much larger.

Also if you sit on the back row you won't have anyones head in your picture. You will have time to decide when you get there where to sit.

Also if you go to the meet and greet they give you a few little hints what to do. We went to Sarg's.

They did have a few snacks in the building so if someone is not a early eater then they can get something there. They had hot chocolate and coffee.

If you have little ones they sell sailor hats , I think they were 5.00 take cash. We got some for my 3 yr and 10 month old grandbabies.

Take binoculars, if your son is tall they are in the back short in the front. Lots of hankies!

Thank you.  My daughter is on the short side so that's good to know she might be closer to the front.  I too am short so anywhere I sit will have  head in front of me.  I am going to take a good camera with a good zoom lens.  That should help.  How many rows are there in each section, ballpark?  30? Just wondering how many heads would be in front of us.  Early arrival might mean the closest seats which is my preference!  And yes, tissues/ hankies, sleeves....they'll all be used, I am sure!

I am currently knitting a cotton sailor hat for my Godson who will be two in August.

The seating is bleacher seating so it isn't too bad. I have been twice and it seems I might have taken better pictures if I were higher up. My youngest son was on the outer right hand side when they line up so he walked right in front of me as they marched in, I was thrilled! My older son was in the back and a little more difficult to find, but I found him!

Great to know about the binoculars!!!!!!  Thanks for the tip!!!!
