For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

What is MTM04? MamaCindy (MM PS 1201-7) can you please look at your list and tell us what the MTM04 test is?
JoannfromYuma MamaCindy texted me the answer: MTMO is Mechanical Theory for Machine Operators... when our ET or EM's take this it is a cross-rate training... basically so they can communicate out in the fleet. If for MM, it's in-rate (what they do) and it will help the other two explain back and forth! LOL... I think I got it right.
You got my meaning right. : ) Can't swear it's completely accurate, but that's my understanding! Maybe dbell will correct us if we're wrong.

Less than two weeks until Power School 1201 Graduation! We are going to GC! We will have a Meet & Greet at the Raddison at 5991 River Avenue on Thursday evening 5/24/12! 8PM! Please join us!
I hope all of you who go to the graduation will stop in at the meet & greet on Thur night. At first I was planning to just drive up early Fri AM. It's only 4 hrs for me. But I really want to be able to meet some of the moms who have helped me through this past year!
Do you have the details of the meet and greet on Thursday evening? I would love to meet some of the other families. I missed the one for Bootcamp because I didn't know anything about it.
