My daughter left for bootcamp yesterday.  The long wait at the airport was so stressful, all other branches left within 2 hours, we had a 6 hour wait.  We received her call in the middle of the night, and now wait until we hear something next.

My son left from Sacramento yesterday.  He did get to text me until "the call"  Where are you at?

We are from Maine.  She was able to text once she landed in Chicago, then we got the call around 11:45 PM EST.

My daughter left the 22nd as well and I got my call at 11:43pm EST. So they must all be together. I will keep a close watch on this post and maybe we can compare notes..."child in a box" arriving, first letter arriving, etc. It's great to find other mom's who are on the same time line as me. :-)

Yes we will all have to stay in touch.  I see that in other notes that they eventually make a group up for those in bootcamp once the form letters are received.  We will have to watch for that too.

Yeah, it is the PIR group we get to join. Glad they find ways to keep us occupied as well. Helps keep the stress level down knowing there are other parents going through this too.

Most of ya'll may be in this PIR group

Or you may be in a later group....join this group  and "hang out" till you know for sure. There will be lots of good info posted in the discussion forum there (posted in every PIR group)

Hi Jessica B.  can you tell me what you mean by the RTC skipping a PIR?  I'm guessing Lindsey will be 7/20 PIR also if the girls who left 5/22 are.  Thks

My daughter's recruiter called me tonight with her address and ship and division.  He said to call if we have any questions.  So excited.

That's great Michelle...what was the addy? What is her Div #?

Hers is Ship 02 Division 936

Michelle....you are in a later group...most likely PIR 7/20 (unless the RTC skips that week) The PIR 7/20 group hasn't been formed yet.

Hi. Ours left on Monday and called at 1045 est. we got our box on Thursday  no notes, I think she was scared! We are hoping that things are getting better for them.
