DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Me too!  My son is Ship 9, Division 200 as well!

We will be at the same PIR. We need to plan every thing then our Sailors will be proud of us too. What do you think?

I got my first letter today. Did you hear from your son? Hope so!

My son will be in air traffic control. Does yours know what he'll be doing? Can't wait for PIR!

Got my letter today too!  Written on Mother's Day -  So sweet.  My son will be a Machinist Mate and will stay at Great Lakes for A School I believe.  I am super excited about PIR!  Do you know where you are going to stay?  I'm thinking I'll probably book at the Navy Lodge.  Still looking in to all that.

Haven't made plans, yet. Am reading blog sites and FB and waiting just a bit. Lord, this is hard!

There is a FB page for our ship/division that I find comforting, too.

I got my phone call today!!!!! I am so Happy!!!!! After 24 days without any information any notice not letter. Today After being crying all over the place. Today my sailor called me...... Division 202 !!!!! Getting Phone calls.......

Has anyone heard a BattleStations date for 199/200 from your SR?  We cannot post the dates on the pages here, but can private message them.  So, if you heard a date, please friend request/private message it to me.  I'm keeping a schedule, but so far have no confirmed dates for this PIR group.  Thanks!

Have been out of town and without phone/email/computer for a couple of weeks. Got the great news yesterday that our son is a sailor! I have finally exhaled! :) Can't wait to see him. Congrats to all the others who are now sailors/sailors' loved ones!

Wondered where you were!  Welcome back!  Do you have all your plans made for PIR?  I'm practically packed....Can't wait!
