DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

We are praying for this family. Thanks for posting this info,. Such a sad thing.

We lit a candle tonight too.

...praying and asking Jesus for strength to make it through.  I'm asking that He put his as around you and forever comfort this family, the RDC's, and his shipmates.

I cry as if this is my son who passed. Heartfelt condolences go out to his entire family and friends. And while they may not have known each other for a long time, let us also send prayers to his fellow recruits who have gotten to know him in bootcamp. May GOD bless in this time of pain and healing

My condolences and prayers to his family and fellow recruits.

I am so deeply disturbed by this. I am so sorry for this family. I pray that they are comforted.
So sorry to hear! My condolences and prayers for the family
And friends.
Did we find out what happened?  :(.  My deepest sympathy goes out to the family!

Christopher Walker's death on January 11, 2012 is believed to have been the result of undiagnosed diabetes.  Elizabeth Richardson's death on February 10, 2012 was related to pneumonia.

When they do their physical before they are accepted into the service don't they take their blood?  What kinda a panel do they do ?  I work at a doctors office and that is always part of a routine physical.  My son hasn't gone to boot camp yet and I worry about this stuff and I wonder if they look at this and to prevent this from happening again maybe they change things??
