FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My name is tayler. My boyfriend left to bootcamp in april. In the letter I received this week he told me about this group on here to come find it. So here I am[=. It's nice to hear from people who are going through the same thing.

Glad you joined us FB. That might be the one he was talking about. This site is good too but not near the information on our FB page.

Hello everyone. I'm not sure if im late. I had join navy for moms when my son first left on April. But I guess I didn't realize how much more u can get out of this page. So far since he. Left I have got 2 letters and a phone call. I'm so excited and so proud of him. I can't wait till June 15. To see him!!!

Hi my son is also in Ship 11 Div 178, I am so excited to be able to connect with other moms in his same divsion. I have been receiving several letters but only 1 call close to Mothers day (Best present ever!!!!). It has been hard for me as my son is the oldest. I am very proud of him. I am traveling to his graduation in June hope to see you there in Meet & Greet in the Ramada Inn. I am from Spring Tx.
