Our sailors will moving on to the 2nd phase of "Nuke" School. Indoc starts on Feb.9th and classes on the 13th. Since we will all be in the "same boat" together, I thought it will be nice to share our experiences.  Lets continue to support our sailors and each other!

I  think  he  meant  overall points. He  uses terms  I  don't  understand  even  when  he  tries  to  explain  them  to  me.  I  guess   what  started  the  punishment was   someone  did  an  elbow sandwich(  I  think  that  it  was  he  called  it).  I  think  the  navy  is  trying  to  show  them  how  serious   their  studies  really  are and  there  are  consequences. Just  wish  it  wasn't  right  before this  big  test  on  Fri.

On the up side, maybe the ordered quiet will get the attention of the clowns in the group and make the study environment better for your son so he can really hit the books hard.  I will keep positive thoughts for all the sailors for the test tomorrow.  Hang in there, he'll most likely bounce back and do very well on this test. So may have a 3 bedroom Villa for sale for July 20th grad,,,colin should have his apartment....will know for sure after this trip Im taking........have reserved from july 19th-25th....hit me up if interested!

i would be interested but would only need it from the 19th to the 21st.   not sure that would work    we have hotel rooms reserved but they can be cancelled.  friend me if you would like to talk more

Well, I received my graduation announcement today for Class 1202 from the NNPTC Command in todays mail.  July 20th is getting close and I can't wait!  I haven't seen my son since Christmas.

Colin called twice yesterday, did great on inrate test! plans on getting some much needed beach time this weekend! i believ only 6 tests left for PS!

Talked to Josh today. He did great on Friday's test too. He says they will be filling out their chits for Power School leave soon! I am doing the happy dance!!!!! Soon, very soon!

Son  passed  Fri  test  but didn't  do  great. We  have  not  received  any  announcement  about  graduation. Do  they  send them  out  only  after   sailor  has  earned  the  5000  points or  is  the  sailor  suppose  to  send it  to  you?

hello everyone!

my son passed fidays test also.  he didnt do great either but happy about passing.    we got our invitatio.   i dont know anything about points.  i will have to ask my son about it.

hope everyone is having a great weekend.

God Bless everyone!!

Don't know about the points ie, if they are required, but I'd say not since my son said today that they had to put the names and addresses on a list and had a deadline a week or 2 ago to submit them.  And he just officially passed 5000 points as of the last test.  So ask your son if he got your name and address on the list by the deadline.

well colin got some good news yesterday, there is 80 something slots open for MM's to start prototype in october, they were given dream sheets to select if they wanted to stay in GC or head up north, he requested GC as he will have his apartment june 28th, it was aproved yesterday afternoon...yay! shorter hold time!

Son  called last  night  and  I  guess he  was  offered the  same  opportunity but  for  some  strange  reason  he  declined. Tried  to  talk  him  into changing  his  mind  but  said  it  was  too  late.  He only  had   about  an  hour  to  decide. I  guess  his  friends  were  not  offered  the  same  deal  and  decided to  stay  with  them.  I  think  this  was  a  real  mistake.

On  other  subject  has  everyone received  their  invitation  to  graduation?  Son   says  they  are  working  on  it  and  .  I  just  want  to   make  sure  I  am  not  the  only  one.
