Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Our sailors will moving on to the 2nd phase of "Nuke" School. Indoc starts on Feb.9th and classes on the 13th. Since we will all be in the "same boat" together, I thought it will be nice to share our experiences.  Lets continue to support our sailors and each other!

im glad to hear about your refund.  i was interested in the villas for a couple days but not all week.  sorry!   have fun and be safe with all your traveling!!

Son called- passed the  test. Yeah!! Still haven't received our  invitation  to  graduation.  Hope  we  are  not  the  only  ones.

colin called....did very well....hope all ur sailors did well!

matthew did good also.  

 

Son  called.  He   was  pleased with  his  score-  6th   highest  in his  section.  I  guess  this  was  the  same  subject  he  missed  passing  by 3/100th  of  a  point.  He   seems  happy.  Through  with  school  work  at  9 but  on  his  way  to  do  laundry.  Says   tomorrow  starts  at  5:30 with  dodge  ball. They  really  do   put  in  a  long   day.  I  am  very  proud.  He  seems  to  have  grown  up  so  much .  He  says  he  is  still  lazy  but  that  is  not  the  way  it  sounds  to  me.

Power School grad is right around the corner ladies! Heading to GC in 11 days to take the boy his belongings and furnishings for his apartment!

good morning all!!

i know!  i cant wait!!   we are also moving some things down for my son and his fiance.  matthew is getting a storage shed to put some of their things in so that it is already down there after they get get married up here.  his uncle is paying to use a trailer from uhaul to take stuff down.  it is their wedding gift from him.    this day next month, we will be on our way!!! 

is there a meet -n-greet anywhere the night before graduation?   i sure would like to meet all of you who are going.

Chatted with Colin last nite, says the work load is really starting to build up now as they get closer to finals and comp. Hopeing all our sailors continue to do well! Not many tests left to go!

good morning everyone!!

i am praying for our sailors to pass their comps and finals!!!!  matthew did say his study hours are going up next week.  probably to help them get ready for them.

they have all come so far!!   i am proud of all of them!!
