It would be great to talk with the other moms and families who are on the same ship and Div as my son.

My sailor is the third oldest out of 11 but the first one to really leave home.  The oldest two moved out to go to college about 45 min away form us.  I didn't think it would hit me so hard since we still have 8 kids at home but his leaving really left an unexpected hole.  Having said that I am beyond excited for him.  He worked long and hard for his EOD contract.  An added bonus is we now have the chance to gain an office/guest room.  We tore into his room the day he left and hope to have it completed by the time he has a chance to come home.  I needed to get his room redone, walking by the door was killing me seeing all his stuff in there.

My son called Sunday and we got to talk for 30 minutes . . His Division had the highest scores, so they were all rewarded with an hour phone call . . glad he still calls his momma first . . the other 30 minutes were reserved for his girlfriend . . :)

He sounded great and happy . . I can't wait until his PIR . . :)

We received that hour long phone call too.  Our SR managed to call in the middle of his brother's wedding where her was suppose to be the best man.  It was wonderful since all his siblings and close family and girlfriend  were there and got to talk with him.  He sounded so upbeat and positive. He just doesn't seem to be struggling with boot camp at all.  I think that is because he knows boot camp is a piece of cake compared to the hard road ahead for all the SPECOPS.  That and my husband prepped him for Marine Corp boot camp!!

Good Morning all. Just a newbie looking to connect with others who have loved ones in this division. Obviously I'm the dad. 2 weeks and a wake up left on this leg of the journey!

Has anyone received a BattleStations date for 814?  We cannot post them on the pages here, but can private message it.  I am keeping a schedule, so if you have heard of a date from your SR, please friend request/private message it to me.  Thanks!

ok i am having trouble navigating on the sight 2day hopefully you got my other post I friended you & if poss would like battle station dates & info on Sarges meet & greet This is the 4th or 5th time i typed this so sorry if it seems blunt hopefuly you also got some of my other posts... just a bit frustrated with my computer .... hope to hear from you soon thanks mommafinn =)

This is the first post I have read from you about this topic.  I do have battle station dates for 814.  Not sure what info you need on the meet and greet.  I really don't know anything about that.  We probably won't attend the meet and greet, planning on swimming instead.  No worries about the bluntness, computers can do that to you.

We are getting close.  Everyone ready?

mom of 11:  Can you friend request/message me the BattleStations date?  I heard from someone else in 814 with a date, but just got an email from a lady from the NEXT PIR group that her son's division goes that same night.  Hmmmm.....not common for them to mix PIR groups in BattleStations.  So just wondering what date you heard for BattleStations?  Thanks!

If someone could pm me our Div 814 Battle Stations info, I would greatly apreciatte it.  The girls, my wife and I are waiting for the call, and having an idea would be wonderful.

Thanks, Dan
