Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

We went to Sarge's at the Sundance. The entire place was ours. Food was set up in the front. More then enough room for everyone.Awesome way to meet Mom's and families you have spent the past 8 weeks growing and getting used to Navy life with. Sarge is a wealth of knowledge. We used his parking tip, having my Mom with us and her walker, she actually didn't need walker, it was such a short walk. Listen to him when he says don't overbook those few hours you have your Sailor. Sarge pays for the food himself out of pocket. It's important for him to have an accurate head count so he can order accordingly. Our group of Mom's have wished a couple times we could go back and sit in the Sundance a few times since our May 25th PIR.

We arrived at Sarge's Meet N Greet early and there were not a lot of people there. There is a free food buffet - as i recall it was spaghetti & meatballs and fruit. There is a bar and big dance floor, but no one was dancing. People were ordering drinks.
Some of the Moms had made scarves with different colors designated for the various divisions so that we could identify each other from our communications on this website (it was cold in March). We met up with those moms and chatted, took pictures. As I recall, Sarge's presentation and question and answer was in the second hour. I did not stay for it because I wanted to go to the Ramada Meet N Greet, but it was basically over when I arrived - so I recommend staying for the Q & A.

kristy - Meet and Great with Sarge is great! He is very knowledgeable and he provides plenty of food (it's free and delicious).
He is really a nice guy and a wealth of information. Highly recommend it!

Sarge had pasta meatballs fried chicken salads fruit, etc.
