Our sailors will moving on to the 2nd phase of "Nuke" School. Indoc starts on Feb.9th and classes on the 13th. Since we will all be in the "same boat" together, I thought it will be nice to share our experiences.  Lets continue to support our sailors and each other!

great score Josh! not sure about the leave thing.....I think it depends on when they have to check into there new command....Colin has to check in with prototype command on July 31st........was gonna come home after grad for 10 days not sure if he is going to now.

Thanks Amanda,

Good luck with the move tomarrow!

yeah  amanda,  have a safe trip and tell colin we all say hi!!

cindy--so glad josh did really well on his exam    matthew said he has one tomorrow.  i am praying they all pass!!

yep mine has one tomorrow too...I believe one of his finals! Good luck to all!

My son is still looking for an apartment in the Ballston Spa area any suggestions?
he is on prefill so he is starting to worry and with comps coming he should focus on the tests

did u check that link I sent you?

can you say yay! 3.54 on todays test (final in something I think)....he is currently moving his stuff into his apartment and we now have the truck loaded! Trying to figure out how to turn the air on......HAHAHA!

Yay!

Chemistry final!  I think there is only 2 more finals than comps. Then graduation!!!!

Son  called.  Got a 3.1 on  test which  means  he  has   his  5000  points.  Sounds  like  most  of  the  kids   did  fairly  well  on  this  test.  One   he  said   failed 3  subjects  and  will  either  be  re  rated  or   released.  Sad..  Says  he  has  been  finalizing  his  list  for  guests  for  graduation and  to  get  there  early  if  you  want   to  find  parking. Just  3 more  weeks.  Can't  wait.

hello all!!

matthew did ok on his test.  he also said two more tests then comps.

i havent asked him if he got his 5000 points yet.

we are counting down till the day we leave which is the wednesday before graduation.

i havent heard yet if there is a meet-n-greet for this class.   has anyone else heard of anything?

Josh got a 3.86 on his chemistry final. He felt like the final was easier than the other test. I hope he feels that way when comps come along.

Betsyleebig, I bet you are so relieved.  I hope he is one of the nukes that find prototype easier. My son has always tested well. I hope he does as well when it is more hands on. I think he will but time will tell.

Right now, all I can think of is 3 MORE WEEKS!!!   I for one cannot wait!!  Thank you all for sharing everything you and your Nuke have been going through during school. I think that it is important to have a bond with people who are going through the same life experiences. It is kind of like therapy. I have enjoyed our group sessions and will for the next few weeks. I know that our kids will end up in different prototype classes. Already we have some who have volunteered for prefill. Some for GC and others for BS. Those who were not offered or who choose not to prefill will also be divided between GC and BS for a later date. I am sad this group will be divided. Some of us will be bound together in new  prototype groups and as for the others, I am sure sometime our paths will cross again  on Navy for moms. Later, I am sure that some of our kids will be on the same ships or boats. Who knows where this journey will take us. I only know that you ladies will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank for sharing and caring. You are all so very special.  I am blessed to have you all to talk to.

t

Very  nicely  said.  Thank  you  to   everyone  for  their  support,  information,  and  advice.  Who   has  received  invitations  to  graduations already?  Not  me.
