Well maybe we can meet. :-) They may know one another since my daughter goes to her meetings monthly as well. I think she is going more often now, but not too sure why.  My daughter went to Cleveland State for two years and decided she wanted to stay in Cleveland (she has family up there as well). Me and her dad are going to drive up there Tuesday morning (leave Maryland around 1-2am) so we can see her off, take pictures, etc. Your drive down shouldn't be too bad. I'm praying for good travelling weather up and back.

My daughter went to Cleveland St. too!!...( And Tri-C).

I'm not sure how many different recruiting offices they have in Cleveland, but she says she's the only one leaving from her's on Tuesday, so I don't think they've met...But guess they will at the hotel!! :)

Would love to see any pictures you take on Tuesday morning since we'll be back home by then...I'm going to ask her recruiter if he'll take on of my daughter swearing in on her phone so she can send it to me...Her name is Claire by the way.

Hi Jules! I will upload the pictures and send them to you. I guess I can add them here and you can check them out that way too, right? What does your daughter look like? Did she stay in the Embassy Suites (I think that's it)? Their MEPS was literally 5 minutes from the airport. How was your 15 sec call once they reached BC?

I think they roomed together at Embassy Suites the night before!!...I'm trying to find the pics now...And I think they were eating together at Chili's from O'Hare when I spoke to her last, besides the 15 sec call...And my 15 sec call was probably closer to 10...Short and sweet, ( most all I could hear were the voices in the background telling everyone to hurry up). LOL

We got some of those calling cards too...I got her one little one from a store just in case there was a glitch with the others, but am putting those into her first letter with instructions, etc.

Someone also gave me a site to get free calling cards for the recruits. It's called callsforrecruits.org. Be sure to check them out. They aren't like traditional cards, they are one time use whether it's 2 minutes or 20 minutes, but they are free. LOL

My son just left from Cleveland on July 10th also. We're already missing him like crazy.

Well here's 3 of us with recruits from Cleveland that left on the 10th!!...Cleveland seems well represented!! :)

Also "BinkersMom" has one leave from Louisville, ( which is where my daughter is actually from), leave the same day too.

I think there were actually about 9 people that I saw at the MEPS station on Tuesday that were leaving for the Navy. There may have even been more later in the day. This was the morning group that got sworn in around 1130am.

My son leaves Milwaukee on the 10th.

How do I find the facebook page for July 10th shippers?

Navy Deppers on facebook.  It's good, I've learned more from them than my sons recruiter!!

My son is leaving July 10th from California. Glad I found a group that has July recruits.
