Hey Ladies!

My husband just got his orders last week and we're being stationed in San Diego! Which is AWESOME because thats where we both wanted to go! Plus his sister and her husband are stationed there.

So I was wondering who else is in the area!? I'm looking to make some friends out there!!! I'm 20 years old, very laid back, and I love to shop and I LOVE animals. And if you have any advice on schools or apartments in the area, that would be great too!

Thanks! =D

Fellow 20 year old here who's in San Diego! :) Welcome! Lol it's definitely a wonderful place to live, but that's a biased opinion since I grew up here xD

What are you going to school for? And as for apartments, if you're looking for somewhere close to base that's close to nearly everything....try looking for places in Point Loma, Mission Valley, or Mission Bay....hmmm if you have any specific questions, I can TRY to help!

Hello there!

I'm so glad that everyone has been saying San Deigo is a nice place to live! I'm going to school for radiography t. I want to become and MRI technician! Are you in school right now??

Thanks so much for the info! I'm SURE I'll be messaging you with lots of questions =]

Hello! That's pretty awesome - there are a ton of schools for medical technicians here, so I'm sure you'll have no problem looking for one. And yes I am in school too, I'm at UCSD trying to finish up my last year there. I'm not quite sure what I want to do with the degree though haha.

Definitely feel free to message me with questions if you have any! :)

Hey, I'm 21 and in San Diego too. Also raised here. We live in the college area, close to San Diego State University. Its nicer the closer you are to the university. The closer you get to base the sketchier it gets. We're stationed at the 32nd street base though, the base on Coronado is a much nicer area.
By schools do you mean for kids or colleges?

Thanks for the info on the living areas! I'm just from a really tiny town and moving to a big area makes me nervous! And colleges! No children for me! Hopefully not for a looong time!

Hi ladies! Also in San Diego. I'm 24 and live out here with my husband and our crazy fur baby Kelly! We live in Mission Valley and love it, you can PM me if you need some advice because when I moved out here I looked at A LOT of different apartments! I'd love to meet all of you ladies, since I've been having trouble meeting people here because my husband is at the ASW base which is a training base, so most people don't bring their spouses!

Thanks so much!!! Oh fur babies! Gotta love them! I'm so scared to take them on the plane ride out there. Iy  know my one (Chloe) is going to be a nervous wreck! But my other one (Gucci) has flown before so I think he'll be fine! I will definitely be messaging you soon for some advice on apartments. I think we're going to stay with my husbands sister for a month or 2. She seems pretty excited to have us come out there.

And I would LOVE to meet up with you! All of you! I'm the type of person who NEEDS friends lol. I can't stand not having a girlfriend to call up and go shopping with or have a movie night with. lol.

Hello!
I'm so glad you like it out there! =]
Did you grow up in a big city or a small one? SHOPPING!!!! Have you been to any malls yet?!?! I'm so excited. I bet they are huge! Mission Valley, I better write this place down. A lot of people have been saying it's a really nice area. And having it within walking distance of a lot of places makes it even better! Especially b/c we'll only have one car for a while. I really want to get a job ASAP.
Do you have FB? If so, you should PM me your link on here so I can add you as a friend!

Fashion Valley is nice! Not many stores I can afford though haha. And check out the Carlsbad Outlets! I LOVE Mission Valley. It's safe, central, and a little more expensive than some of the other areas but we have a 2/2 and it doesn't take full BAH, and we didn't have to compromise on ANYTHING we wanted!

HI I'm 24 and just moved to SD while my boyfriend finishes school at NPS....

He is being stationed here next....

I am living in Point Loma because it is close to base for me to go to work.  I love the area and love being close to everything!!

Hey Shelby!
You should add me on FB if you have one! I don't get on here much anymore! But I'd love to get in touch!
