Who else has a SR leaving for GL this week?

My son is at the hotel right now. We will go see him take his Oath in the morning and spend a bit more time with him before he leaves.

My hubby is ship 09 div 274 so it's close to mine :)

we received our 'box' today but I am at work so unable to see all the wonderful content till i arrive home.  I did just speak to his recruitor as they still have his diploma and he was able to give me his info.  SHIP 9 DIV 276.

Woohooo!! Our SR's will be together!! You need to message me and let me know the last name so I can let mine know to "bond"!!LOL

Be careful driving home.

GraceRae,

I wonder if they'll be in the same TG? (I'm learning the lingo, can you tell??? TG, training group!, Go ME!!LOL)

I hope so...with brandydean and mine, all these Nukes in one area, could mean a brain overload!!LOL And since mine sometimes lacks common sense...well, your hubby may need to keep him on task!!LOL

Idk they might... my hubby is an AM aviation mechanics... but he will def try to keep people on task and motivated thats just how he is... hopefully the lack of common sense as you put it doesnt get him into trouble!! lol have you gotten your box yet? when did he arrive at GL?

also just wanted to see if anyone knew how the sort the divisions? I see some ppl who commented in here have ppl in ship 9 like my hubby but how are they sorted from there? are each div in their own spot? or do they mix them together?

Got the box today...and he arrived last Tuesday/Wed. 3 a.m.

I told him (as did everyone else) to just keep his mouth closed and his eyes open...and that should serve him well...

We'll see though...after his first IT I'm sure he'll learn!!

IDK about the divisions and sorting...interested to find out.

Still no update yet from RTC about  PIR 08/24/2012 and it's Divisions.

Soon, I hope!

My daughter left on July 3rd and I finally, after a week got her address.  I called the recruiters office today and he told me Ship 12 Division 270. I also got her box today.  She wrote her name on the outside of the box then did a scribbly swirl after her name, its her famous signature.  I wonder if she had to do pushups for that. Inside her box was a mess.  Just like her bedroom used to be.  Clothes just crammed in there and some other junk that she took with her, why I have no idea.  But that is my daughter.  I am sure the Navy will straighten her messiness right up. This site is so awesome, it is wonderful to be able to share information and feelings with people who are going through the same thing.

ughhh LUCKY!! my hubby arrived in GL on the 3rd and I know his address but Im eagerly awaiting "thebox" and the form letter. Im thinking it should be here today.. but I guess maybe tomorrow!! crossing my fingers and toes for some shred of a note from the hubby!! welcome to the club mom of 4

I received my son's "box" today. No form letter.  sigh.. I can't get any info from his recruiter. I was told it would another week before they knew anything. He arrived at GL on the 3rd. Any suggestions?

oh I sooooo hope I get my SRs box sooooooonnnnn! And I pray our boys are together as they were when they left
