Hello ProudMomof4 my daughter is also in ship 11 div 262.  :)

My son is Ship 11 Div 261.

Welcome Tjoes!!  I will send you a message for our FB pages too!!

Hey everyone, my daughter is in 11-261.  Got a phone call the other day, she needed some info for her security clearance.  Ran around for an hour getting it all together to email off the them.  She called me back later that night, go to speak for about 10 minutes.  She told me they may have hit a nerve when they gave her the injections/vaccination they also discovered she had a slight fever, I assume it was from the live vaccine pill she was given.  Was put on 2 days LLD for the arm, so she missed the swim test :-(

Other than that she sounded great, said it was tougher than she expected ...but bearable.  I think the yelling gets to her more than the PT.  LOL

Sorry to hear that she has 2 days LLD but excited for you on the phone call!!!  Thanks for sharing!!

I also got a call for some information for her security clearances.  she is 11-262 My daughter sounded great, she said some of the other girls had a hard time with the yelling.  She said that one girl threw up because she was nervous scared of the yelling at her.  She said she was good with everything.  Was glad to hear from her.

Hi, my son is 11-261 as well. When he called me he said he was really sick too due to the vaccine they gave him. He said doing PT with a fever was not a whole lot of fun... The yelling is not his favorite part but he's handling it well.

Hi Everybody,

My SR left on June 26th for boot camp from CT.  I would like to make new friends with other Navy moms who their sons are in Ship 11 Div 261/262. I am curious who booked Ramada Inn near Base? We booked Ramada Inn  , rent car and plane tickets. Now I am starting to count the days until Aug 24th to see my Son's face! It is hard for me not able to talk with him over the phone , no skype and email for Kyle's deaf parents. I am wondering if it is allowing to bring laptop to School A for my son? I do not know what are their policy there?

I tagged you in a post on FB regarding laptops.  Hope that helps!!  As for me, my husband works in Wisconsin and stays 30 miles from Great Lakes.  We won't be getting a hotel but plan on coming down on Thursday night for the meet and greats.

Hi our daughter left on the 26th  from oklahoma. She is ship 11 div 261. I am waiting on a phone call!!! We have gotten one letter. does anyone know how long till they get a call? she has done really well so far. she was promoted twice already!!! very proud...

My Son Danny will be graduating on Augest 24th . He is on Ship 11 Div 262. Looking forward to seeing you all there

FYI: I mailed out 9 calling cards to my SR today to hand out in the division. Don't thank me, than callsforrecruits!
