Haven't found many folks with SRs in this same group as my son. Thought I'd try a new discussion? I know 266 is brother div. with 265. There must be a bunch of ya's out there!

Submtmom...thanks, but the marines also graduate on Fridays, but the parents got to spend a few hours with their kids on Thursday (before graduation). Does the Navy have anything like that? Thanks.
When my oldest graduated Navy bc two years ago we did not get to see him on Thursday pm. We had to wait until the graduation ceremony was over on Friday before we got to see him. They did not release any SR's on Thursday night. We met the other parents at the meet n greet on Thursday night and all of us were very excitedly anticipating seeing our kids the next day.
ok....thanks.
Can anyone tell me if there are restrictions on who can stay at the Navy Lodge? I've been looking to book a hotel, but some surrounding hotels don't have such good reviews. I am sure they fill up fast, thus the reason I want to book early. Thanks for any help!
kmlind - no restrictions that I'm aware of. We stayed there two years ago and we were very satisfied. Nice room, great service!
Great! thanks for the info. I think I will give them a call and see about booking there!
Please see this post for some additional info about the Navy Lodge. Stayed there too and eally liked it.

Wow! a lot in div 265. Are any of you going to the meet n greet at the Ramada Inn?
What is the meet and greet at the Ramada? VS the one at Sundance?
The Ramada Inn on Green Bay hosts meet n greets each week for the friends & family of the graduates also and just happens to be where we're staying. There is an informational post on this site for the different meet n greets. Last time I went they had a table set up and had all our names down and we signed by our name and picked up our ribbon to wear on our lapel. Basically it was just a cocktail mixer of just walking around and meeting each other. Hopefully it will be different this time and maybe have a speaker or something.
Hello my daughter is also in 266. I am Leslie from NC.
