Haven't found many folks with SRs in this same group as my son. Thought I'd try a new discussion? I know 266 is brother div. with 265. There must be a bunch of ya's out there!

lpparker- We used a shuttle service to take us to graduation the first time we went. The cab driver's name is Danny Machado, here is his info from the card I still have:
Danny/taxi - 847-409-3711
Flat Rates, Airport pickup/drop off/Guided Tours/limousine also available
We will most likely use him again because he was so knowledgeable of RTC and the surrounding area and was funny and very nice.
I just got a call from my son. I guess he's getting separated for having scoliosis. He didn't know he had it until he had his physical. I certainly didn't know either and he's had physicals with our doctor before but no one ever said anything about that. But it's ok. He's bummed out a little but he's the type of person that can take the good with the bad. And I had put him in God's hands so God knows what He's doing more than we do, there must be a reason this has happened.
Aww.. So sorry to hear about your son. It seems that someone should have discovered this long before now. What happens now? Will be keeping him in my prayers!
He said the Navy will fly him back home in two weeks. I guess they started the paperwork day before yesterday.
Hello everyone...just received 3 letters from Becca. She seems to be doing well, a bit stressed and maybe a little annoyed at times. But good. She does have a divisional job...Ship Staff. She's passed all her inspections and tests to date. I am so proud of her.
Hey so far we have just got the one letter and that was last week. I am geeting nervous hearing that you guys have received more that one. I sure hope she is doing Ok I know in her letter she said maybe she should have stayed home and gone to school here.Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is so hard she is our baby girl and I worry so much about her.I know she is a strong girl and I'm sure she can do this but I still worry and wonder what is she doing. We are staying at the Courtyard its about 4 miles from bc, I think we may go to the meet and greet with Sarge I hear its very good. Thanks for hearing me whine guys but I sure do miss my baby
Hey, last week I was the one whining...no problem here. Last week I got nothing. In the first letter today my daughter mentioned maybe this wasn't such a good idea, but by the last one she was much more positive. I'm sure your daughter is doing much better now.
Tks I hope you are right and she is more postive when I get the next one which I hope is tomorrow
I just got the one as well- but there was maore than one letter in the envelope. I am hoping to get another one this week-don't worry we knew it would be tuff. I had wanted my daughter to go to school first but she made the decision and joined in a matter of weeks- so I am sure she may be feeling the same way. Hope her next letter provides you some comfort.
you are right I knew it would be hard but not this hard but I will hang in there just hope to get a good letter tomorrow
Hey Leslie wanted to let you know I got a letter and a call today she is doing better how about you did you a call
